I can only check for spark if you have spark then go to the carb. check for fuel flow if you have flow clean your carb. one of these is bad.

SOURCE: how to change oil and where i put the oil in to

Warm up the engine so the oil will flow out. Push the handle to the ground and either have someone stand on it or wedge it underneath something to hold it down. Disconnect spark plug!! Remove blade. Place a drain pan underneath mower (one that's shallow enough to lower the mower down on) and using a 3/8 extension on a ratchet, stick the square end of the extension in the drain plug in the bottom of the engine and unscrew. Lower mower back down for a couple of minutes then reverse proceedure. I think it holds about 20 oz. of oil. Put in 18 oz. and check it. Be sure not to overfill.

SOURCE: Change Oil

All lawn mower engines have a drain plug for draining the oil. Look for a square nut on the side of the engine

SOURCE: GOT GASOLINE IN OIL TANK.

Empty the tank of the tainted gasoline (Maybe add the right amount of oil and use it for a trimmer, etc), fill tank with fresh gas and clean the spark plug, since it is probably fouled out. You may have to clean the carb with some carb cleaner, and clean your plug a few extra times, but it should be fine. Hope this helps. Good luck.

SOURCE: oil change in yard man lawn mower

Some mowers are designed to drain oil out of the dipstick tube. remove dipstick and tilt the mower to allow oil to run out into a drain pan. 2/3 rds of a quart or 20 oz is what to expect.

Mower wont start changed plug still wont start checked gas line seemed okay but what is that plastic piece in the line never seen one before

Getting a mower out of its winter slumber takes some time. Start with fresh gas, new oil, and air filter. Sometimes carbs get gummed up(varnisized gas). Donyboy73 on youtube shows how to remove Briggs n Stratton in tank carb systems and clean the parts and passages.

Lawn mower wont start. changed air filter, spark

Does it turn over? If it does, what happens? Does it sound normal when its cranking? I need more information to help. Is it a push mower or riding mower? Does it start by key or pull start?

Oil change

STOP !

Your lawn mower is has a 4 cycle engine
It does not require oil to be mixed with the gas
The oil for the crankcase should be a 10W-30 or 10W- 40
NO GAS IN THE OIL
What you have is a 2 cycle oil that is mixed with gas for most weed eaters, chain saws, ect
Putting a gas/oil mix in your mower WILL severely damage it destroying the main bearings and could lead to an explosion or fire.
Please be careful
