I bought the computer back in january 2009 by march my pc would not boot. and has not since what can i do to fix this

let us know how far into the boot process it gets before it hangs up (if at all) and we'll see what we can come up with.

Upto what stage does it boot to?
Can you see the POST screen?
Can you see the OS loading screen?
