I want to use the fan for another application than intended. I need a schematic showing function of each of the 4 wires black red yellow blue

The color code of PWM fans is standard.
Black is ground (return)
Red is +12 Volts
Yellow is the fan speed signal
Blue is the Pulse Width Modulation signal
An important thing to remember when adapting a case fan to a different application is,
the sleeve bearing fans are not rated for continuous operation.
For continuous operation, only the ball bearing fans such as the Arctic Cooling fans of the CO series should be used in a continuous duty application.

I have an acer aspire x1301 and was wondering if you can connect any cooling fans

You can put cooling fans on anything. It looks like you can put a fan on the back, its looks to be a 80 or 92mm fan. I recommend a dual ball bearing fan if you go that route since they last longer. You can also put one on the side, if you cut a hole for one on the side. Another good option would be to upgrade the cooling for the processor with something that is all copper, and use artic silver 5 as the thermal paste.

I am in need of a fan motor for my Danby Frig. Paret #JG50.DQ-10. Cannot find it anywhere. Suggestions?

The problem with the factory fan is that it is a sleeve-bearing fan. On average, a fan should operate for about 50,000 hours, which if it runs continuously would be over five years. However when the operating temperature rises or the fan is installed "not exactly" vertically, it will have shorter life.
I had to replace my fan two times withing two years since we bought the unit! Plus the stock fan becomes quite noisy after a couple of months of work.
With all of these problems I did some research for better fans and decided to purchase a ball-bearing fan to install it into the cooler by myself.
Ball-bearing fans on average outlast sleeve-bearing fans by 50 percent and produce less noise.
It's very important to purchase the right AC 115 Volts fan for this Danby wine cooler.
The original fan is Rullian Science RAL 1225S2 (120x120x25 mm in size, 100-125V AC, 0.09A)
The replacement model is Orion OA12AP-11-3TB which I got for $16.75 from Mouser Electronics ( The replacement model is ball-bearing cooling fan with slightly higher/better parameters, which will help to cool down the wine cooler coil faster.
To replace the fan you need to tilt the wine cooler on the side and unscrew two small screws at the bottom that keep the original fan in place, remove one screw to the black box where the fan wires are attached and unplug these wires. Then you just need to replace it with the new fan and test that it works properly. If you never used Soldering Tool before you probably will be better off with getting some help from certified electrician - it still will be less expensive than getting this fan ordered every year from Danby.

My emachine t1090 is making extremely loud whineing noises( like my bathroom fan when it is dirty). I took the casing off of the machine and cleaned it with compressed air, alos took casing off of the fan...

you have a ball bearing fan, after awhile, the fans ball bearing move around, thats were you are hearing the whining noises. All you have to do is replace the fan with the high piched sound.
The fan is $2.99USD and $1.99USD Shipping, no tax. Fan Total = $4.98USD
