I need to replace the 2 lamps in this model. Does anyone know where to get this size - 1 bulb says UVP inc J-204, the other bulb JVP inc 50054. The original bulbs were made in Japan. Thanks for the help.

Donna Donna Donna, you know my blood pressure goes up when people with motor scooters that have names I can't pronounce ask me questions about parts concerning a model that has been discontinued, you're killing me. The way I see it you have 2 options:
1. Solder the offending connection.
2. Take it to someone that has not done his good deed for the day.
Good luck and have a wonderful day. Gregg

Hello there,If your movie projector light bulb has stopped working, there are some simple steps to take to get your movies playing again. The hardest part may be finding the correct replacement bulb. There are so many different models with their own specific bulb. Here are some steps to follow to replace your burned out light bulb.
Locate the bulb in the movie projector. You may need to use a screwdriver to open the bulb compartment. Check your owner's manual for proper procedures.
Step 2.Remove the movie projector light bulb or lamp. The bulb must be cool before you take it out. Use a tissue or cloth to remove the bulb because the glass bulb is very fragile. Do not throw away your bulb yet, you may need it to help find a replacement.
Step 3.Find replacement bulb. The Better Lamps website offers a wide variety of light bulb models. From their homepage select the brand of movie projector you have and using the model number from your old bulb, buy a replacement.
Step 4Replace the movie projector lamp or light bulb. Do not touch the bulb with your skin. This can transfer oils from you onto the bulb resulting in a hot spot which can make the bulb burst. Use a tissue or cloth to handle the new bulb to screw it back into place and then replace the cover.
Hi,Osram lamps average around 3000-4000 hrs.Normally 1 -1 1/2 yr.I do think the lamp went out.The ballast is a possibility, when it's going bad it will make clicking noises or attempts to light the bulb.I recommend to get the Original Philips lamp for they average 6000-8000 hrs 3-4 yrs.

Cleanwater also has them. Clean them with rubbing alcohol, do not let your fingers touch the bulbs. And check your 24V ac adapter. If it starts going you will get a power light but the other lights will come and go. I have one and the bulbs are nearing the end of life, not a cheap fix.
