No power on LCD after power outage

I have a Sabre LCD. We had a power outage and now my Tv does not come on. It was plugged into the wall and not a surge protector. I wonder of it is a fuse that is blown inside of it.

I appreciate the feedback. That was the first thing I checked, the outlet, then I plugged it into the surge protector with other equipment that was still working and still no power. I do see a button, that I believe was the reset button, because it has on and off, but when I push it in, it doesn't stay in. So I don't know if a fuse has blown inside or what. And this silly manual does not give any trouble shooting info.

First, check whether it is the fuse in the home wiring that is out. You should plug something else into the outlet to see if the outlet is still functioning.
Some electronic equipment has a reset switch (fuse) on the back panel. Others have a special sequence of buttons on the panel that will act as a reset. Check your user manual to see whether your unit has such a switch or reset sequence.

Had a power outage and tv was on when power came back on , heard a pop , now tv has no sound ?

If you have one of the newer flat screen TV sets; power the TV off and then unplug the set from the wall outlet for a couple of minutes and then plug the TV set back in and then power it back up. Lots of newer flat screens have a power supply system that will not reset properly after a voltage spike or a power outage that is a short duration. By unplugging from the wall outlet and letting the power supply drain all the way to a zero (0) setting it usually resets ok when you power it back up. good luck, Dennis

We are have power outage and we can't get our 50"

Have you tried unplugging the TV from the wall for 5 minutes?

Also have you tried plugging something else into the outlet to verify that the outlet works?

Sharp lc-46sb54u wont come on nor the wii or direct box

Sounds like wall out or no voltage to the equipment; does a lamp or other appliance work when plugged into same outlet?

Did you have some kind of power outage?

It seems unlikely all three would be dead at same time as your question states-----circuit breaker tripped?

My Sabre LCD TV is blinking red and green on power button and will not come on

My TV just did this 2 days before Thanksgiving. I just messed with it and fixed it today. Unplug it from the power source for atleast one hour. Plug it back it. Hold the power button til constantly flashes red and green. Wait at least one minute while it continues to flash. Turn it off. Flip the big power source button on the back to off && then on. Then hit the power button on the side, and it should turn on. Worked for mine. Hope it helps.

We had a power outage today and our tv won't turn on - there is a green flashing light on the front panel and that is it.

Try connecting the TV directly to a different wall outlet and check. If the issue persists, try power resetting the TV. Turn Off the TV and remove the power plug from the wall outlet for 1 minute and reconnect it and check the operation. If the issue persists, then the TV requires service.

My panasonic LCD TV's lamp light is flcikering.

Sounds like the lamp. Turn the TV off, unplug the TV from wall, wait for half hour. Remove the lamp and see, if it is fogy looking, this will give you an idea if the lamp is going bad.

Good luck

I have a Magnavox TV/DVD and i recently had a power outage. The power came back on and turned on the TV and the color of the TV screen is a purple or green tint. There is only a tiny circle about 1 inch in...

Remove the the plug from the wall socket(power) plug it back after five minutes. If the power outage was caused by lightning, then it is most likely static on the screen.

TV wont turn on due to power outage

I know it's been a while since you have sent this request, but if you havn't gotten any help or repaired the set by now, I'll try to help if I can. Your set has a seperate power supply board internally. The fuse could be burned out on that board. Also if you did in fact get a power surge, you may have a capacitor or a series of capacitors bad. Check the fuse first and if this is not the problem, I suggest you replace the power supply board as they are not real expensive. Good luck and I hope this has helped in some way
