SOURCE: Problems with Printing Special Size Forms

First I would print the menu settings by going into menu mode (Shift+Sel keys) then pressing the print key. Then I would reset the printer to defaults by turning it off and turning it back on while holding the Sel+LF keys. Then go back into menu mode and make sure to match the emulation mode, character set, language set, code page, page length, and all the Parallel I/F settings. Then try your print job again. If you problem still exists then it is most likely that your application of driver on the comptuter is sending the extra lind feeds and that the problem is not with the printer.

SOURCE: Printing on NCR paper. Trouble is it keeps

Print drums have a cleaning blade which scrapes off the excess toner after it has been hit with a charge to allow it to leave the drum.

If the blade is worn or has had a hard life then it may not be collecting all of the wast and returning it to the cartridge

You can take them out and clean them but it depends on your printer as to how easy that is to do

SOURCE: 6-part NCr paper form being used. Pages 1 and 2

This is a problem with your paper. Using multi-part forms on an impact printer will get lighter print on each layer working from the top form to the bottom. The "carbon" paper has to impact the paper hard enough to make the marks. If your top and bottom copies look good but some in the middle are light it is a problem with the "carbon" paper and not the printer.
Now IF the top page is light and each copy under that is getting lighter then you need to close your platen gap (the lever on the right side of the machine mark A B C) go one click at a time (darkening) until the print quality looks good (or you go too far and it pinches the paper and jams *not good*)

This answer is correct. 4/12 divided by 2/2= 1/3
The reciprocal of 2/2 is 2/2
Then you multiply straight across and reduce to get 1/3

Tv want come on but red led flashes

The pattern formed by the flashes is important. A simple regular on and off indicates it is in standby mode. Am irregular number count like say 3 flashes, pause then three will indicate a basic fault 'messages' which if you know the Make and Mode of the TV, you can look up via Google or the manufacturer's support website.

When i enter the binomial probability formula into the casio fx-115es it will not operate. it says that the problem lies in the (n-X)!X! part of the formula. I'm writing everything exactly the way it is in...

You may be writing the expression as they appear in the formula, but the problem stems from the fact the factorial function increase rather rapidly and you cannot calculate the factorials of numbers larger that 69 which is the limit of the calculator.
However if you use the built in Combination function nCr, you will avoid the problem. In the binomial function, the n!/(r!(n-r)!) factor can be replaced by nCr or nC(n-r).

Do not use the explicit form with the factorials because you will get an overflow.

A Committee has 19 members, of which 10 are Democrats and 9 are Republicans. A subcommittee is going to be formed with 3 Democrats and 3 Republicans. How many possible subcommittees can be formed?

How many ways can you select 3 members out of 9 republicans: nCr (9,3)
How many ways can you select 3 members out of 10 democrats: nCr(10,3)
For each single choice of 3 reps you have 1*nCr(10,3) possible subcommittees.
Hence the total number of possible suncommittes is nCr(9,3)*nCr(10,3)
Explictitly
# of possible subcommittees is [9!/(3!*6!)]*[10!/(3!*7!)] or 10080

To calculate you can use the explict formula above or use the nCr function of your calculator

To access the nCr( function press [2nd][5] (MATH) [7:Probability][3:nCr]

You can also just type the name of the command respecting the case ( C must be upper case)
