Correct setting for Epson Workforce 7520 printing on gloss paper

You need to start with photo glossy paper that's designed for an Epson printer. HP paper may not work well, and some other papers don't work either. Try some Epson paper, and that should work fine.
You can also try other paper settings, such as "transparency" or "matte paper", as the paper setting governs how much ink is laid down. I think getting the right paper is really what you need, though. Ink "puddling" is a common Epson complaint, and it's almost always the paper.

Black printing is fuzzy. No sharp edges. Tried OEM cartridge and third party cartridges. Same thing on all.

Sounds like your printer hasn't had the printhead aligned so worth using the printhead alignment function in Printing preferences > Maintenance to sort that out.
While OEM cartridges are unlikely to experience the same problem if alignment was successful, it could be the compatible ink is lingering in the nozzles and needs to be flushed through with OEM inks to get crisp output.
Finally, consider using a different paper to see if your paper is more the issue than the ink.

Epson workforce 610 printing improperly

have the printer being discussed in this thread.... the Epson WorkForce 610. I just encountered the same issue, many lines were missing from the page that I wanted to print. Ink levels were fine, but every time I try to print the same thing, the same lines were missing. I read through the solutions mentioned above and I decided to see what the printer had in its maintenance toolbox on the printer itself.

Here's a solution that worked for me!

1. Go to "Setup"
2. Under Setup, select "Maintenance"
3. Select "Head Cleaning"

The printer does the head cleaning automatically. Print another page, all of the lines should show up!

Simple, no need to buy another printer or clean the ribbon...

Keeps saying paper jamed when I try to print

On the Epson website it is confirmed that the Epson WorkForce 610 will not recognize transparency media. It is just the way the printer works; if it can see through the media, it doesn't think it's there.
However.....you can tape a sheet of white paper to the non-printable side of the transparency, and it prints just fine. I put two strips of scotch tape on either side, top and bottom. Works great. It's kind of a hassle, but better than not being able to print transparencies at all!

Epson R2880 trying to change matt black to photo black

There are many solutions posted already - what I do is in photoshop i start to print - even though I cant select the paper I want because the wrong ink is recorded - and I click print preview... then click print. The epson drivers tries to print, THEN detects the NEW ink and sends me back to selecting the paper with the new ink properly sensed. I hope this helps.
