SOURCE: motorola v170 tracfone

press the center button. Then press the down arrow. when you get to 'recent calls' then press 'select.' You will have three choices, select received or sent or missed. When the call comes up, then press the center button again and you should have a choice of deleting that call. Press yes, the white dot on the right.

SOURCE: With my Motorola l6 i phone i can't open initial

hi,
i would try to help you out in this regard, but before this let me know whether you have set any password to other options in the settings like.. personalize, or ring style or connection or call divert.

if you have the password to any of these, first try to remove the passwords to those options and restart your mobile, this should be fixed, you may ask that what is the relation b/w this option and other options, this could be because of some bugs in software building..
if the issue persists, write back on this with the exact error message you see.. or any thing that happens when you try to open it...

Wrong date and time

When was the last time you replaced the battery? It might need a new battery.

Thank you,

Why is my service disabled, but I have minutes?

With TracFone, you not only need to have minutes, but also service time. Check your phone's display to see if your service time is up. (I have a Samsung TracFone and it tells the number of service days remaining, but my old Motorola showed an expiration date. Your Motorola model may show the date too.) You'll lose service if you don't add more time by the end of service date, even if you still have minutes. As long as you add some more airtime within a short time (I don't remember the exact number of days), you'll keep the same number.

If the phone shows you haven't reached the end of service date and you still have minutes left, there's some other problem that TracFone will need to look into. Their customer service number is 1-800-867-7183.

Hope this helps and that you're back in service soon. Thanks for using Fixya!

Shows main screen w/date time mins. etc for 5secs, then goes blank and shows the 2 hands touching and the word Nokia, then shows TRACFONE, then shows when due date is, then shows main screen w/date time...

May I ask if your fone may have fell into water, beverage, washing machine etc?

well, I believe that the reason for the loop is because the circuit has corroded and made contact with other parts of the mother-board. It may not be too late to see a cell-fone technician and have it cleaned out.

Hope this solves your problem. :)

My tracfone disp allows emergency calls only.

The same thing happened to me. Take the battery and SIM card out of the phone, then simply put them back in and turn the phone back on. Fixed the problem for me.

BIS 34-D phone - Display window blinks date time beeps multiple times/day

The display will blink if power is cut either by unplugging or if the control system is power-cycled. The cause of the power glitches needs to be located & corrected. Changing the ring tone/cadence depends on which control unit is being used.
