Check if you have a main fusible link which is a wire that is suppose to melt to prevent the smaller relays from damage. It would be a wire from the battery to the main fuse box or a wire from the starter relay bundle to the main fuse box.

Why asd fuse keeps blown

You have a Chrysler , dodge , or Plymouth ? ASD Fuse supplies power to ASD relay ,if you have a Dodge , Chrysler or Plymouth vehicle . You have a short to ground , videos on you tube , how to find a electrical short ! ASD - auto shut down , this powers Ignition system , fuel injectors , O2 sensors . A short in any one of these systems will blow the fuse . O2 sensor wires get melted on exhaust pipes an manifolds ! That is if you have one of these make vehicles !

2006 Dodge Grand Caravan - One morning was dead(single click). Battery charged/tested = Good. Starter tested = Amps/Volts within range, sounded a little rough, Bendix sometimes slow to engage. Replaced...

This looks like an electrical problem. A burnt wire and melted fuse at a component are only symptoms of a problem up the circuit. It may be possible that the fuse in the fuse box is rated higher than required and caused the failure at the component.
The circuit may not be getting the correct current to get your engine started immediately. It will entail a lot of work and running a same-rated new wire can be helpful in reducing the occurence of missed starts but may not eliminate it altogether.
Hope this helps.

1990 Buick Century Limited 6cly wont start turn over or crank

Usually if the battery is dead, you will hear clicking. If the battery is good then I would check any Starter fuses/relays. If they are good then I would check for power to the starter solenoid. You can find many youtube videos on how to check this.

Recheck the wires coming from the starter, for rub-thru, and grounding. Commonly a wire gets pinched between the starter and the starter housing. Wiring touching or near the exhaust manifold can melt, check there too :)
