It is likely off the spool. Remove the starter system an check that the rope is on the spool.

1999 f250 superduty p/u need to replace all parking brake cables can not find any advice online or in my repair manuals. The cable broke at the brake release handle with the parking brake stuck.

This is surprisingly not an expensive repair at a dealer. But the truck needs to move and it will not without the brakes on. You will find that the assembly has at least 3 parts. You also must consider the wheelbase for cable length.

The reel spool under the dash may be retreaded with a new cable sometimes. Otherwise it is fastened to the kickpad area and a new assembly with spooled cable will bolt into the spot of the old assembly. The floorboard has an opening to thread the cable through.

After all the front reel cable is strung out, it will meet at a bracket with cable from the rear of the truck. Depending on the wheel base, there may be an extender linking the front reel cable and the rear crossover cables from each rear brake.

Some of the rear brake cables are different if you have rear drum or rear disc brakes. BEFORE connecting the bracket of the crossover it is necessary to attach the ends of the rear cables to each rear wheel brake fixture. Since the cables pull the fixtures to tighten the emergency brakes; it may be better to tap the fixtures rearward to make the emergency brakes relax. Then you can adjust the cables but in general the reel assembly under the dash will help adjust the assembly.

How do you remove the spool on an echo srm-2100 trimmer

Most units like yours has a tap head feed spool. To get to the line spool, you need to push the spool inward and rotate it to release it. The line spool is spring loaded, hence the need to push it in and rotate it to get it to release. You return the spool to the trimmer head housing after loading new line on it the same way, in reverse. Hope this info helps.

How do i restring my 40v lithium kobalt weed eater

If you look on the cutting head, you will see 2 tabs that push in to release the spool cover. once open you can add more cable and reattach the spool.
There is a thorough guide in the manual, just clock on the link ive added.

I have a stanley garage door opener model 1200.51 which is chain and cable driven. The problem i am having is each cable came off and i want to know how to reattach them.

The most important thing is to understand that the door spring can KILL YOU. If you are not absolutely certain that you know what you are doing, call a garage door guy. Many poeple get SERIOUSLY hurt.

So, you need two perfectly fitting rods to fit into the spring tightening end of the spring..
Release all spring tension. Release the opener.
Level the door with shims if necessary.
Install the first cable and turn the spring main rod to hold tension.
Put a vice grip on the main rod to keep it from unwinding any more
Release the 2nd cable spool and thread the other side cable. Turn the spool to have the same tension as the other cable.
Then wind the spring about 6 revolutions. (35 flats or tool insertions).

Verfiy the cable is still threaded correctly on both sides.

Correct spring tesnion is when the door will stay at 1/2 closed.
REconnect the opener and good to go.

Panasonic NV-DS65 500x it gives power red flicker

This is not the problem with that battery. That battery is using for the clock & date memmory. From your question not clear the problem. First you check the flickering condinously or after two or three or some another numbers flickering then giving some intervel then it doing again.
Any way I can give u a solution. Open the black cover remove the flex cable which is connected in between mechanisum and main P.C.B. & remove another flex cable which is connected capston motor & main P.C.B (which is big flex cable just closed to tripod fixing hole. Then clean with sprit & cotton bud. After five minute refixed it again. Mostely it should work. Try this if the problem is not solved tell the details of the flikering of the red light

I am trying to replace the cord on my mower, but the cord wont spring back in when I attempt to start it. Please help

the spring below the cord 'spool' must be wound tight before new cord is attached.disconnect cord, wind spool in the direction cord would pull it when starting until it stops & hold it there[spring is wound] release it enough to align & attach cord.release spool & allow it to wind cord onto spool.replace cover.

The cord on my electrolux Epic 6500 has been pulled too far out and will not rewind. How can I access the cord reel to rewind?

There are two keys holding the body together, underneath the bumpers on the side of the vac. With the bag door open these keys when gripped with pliers will slide forward to release the body panels.

Before opening the vac, gently push the cord back inside the housing.
2 possibilities:
If the spool rotates and allows the cord to push in , the body must be disassembled, and the cord winder removed and the spring reloaded. This is tricky work. you will need to wind the entire cord onto the spool, then load 3.5 rotations onto the coil spring for tensioning, then reassemble. It's a bit like working on a land mine of you're new at it. Wear safety glasses.

BUT if the spool is locked from the outside and the cord wont push in or pull out, a fine , long blade screwdriver can be inserted diagonal to the body through the cord slot and with luck you can lift a cog of the spool releasing tension and the rewind will work. try that first , but be gentle . You must release the cord spool allowing a a dog ear catch cog to release inside by gently lifting upwards.
Post back to say how you made out,
Or look for an AERUS Electrolux service shop.

Videotape twisted

Underneath, between the spools, you can use a pencil or such other instrument to push in the part that holds the spools in place. Then loosen the tape as needed.
