Check the glowbar ignitor in the oven. If it does not glow or glows weakly replace it. If you are handy with a amp meter you can check the ignitor. If it shows 3 amps or less, replace the ignitor.

SOURCE: Electric Range Frigidaire Professional Series

Hi,

The last expert is correct.

According to the Frigidaire technical documentation, most likely the cause of the problem is a bad Electronic Oven Control (EOC).

Check the wire harness and the P4 connector at the EOC. If the wire harness and the connector are fine, replace the EOC

You could try to disconnect the power supply for few minutes, say 15 minutes and see, if that could help the situation unless you need to replace EOC/Clock/Control board.

I don't think it is sensor as this is a common problem on these units and 99% it is faulty EOC.
Let me know,if needed further assistance.

Note - Kindly perform the repair, if you have prior appliance repair experience. These ovens are quite dangerous to work. It could not only damage the oven but could also harm you,if done in an appropriate way.

Hope i helped you.

Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!

I put the oven on and after about 10 minutes I get a message on the stove with beeping saying F2

Hi,

At the back of the oven the sensor wire connects to the erc wireing via a plug, cut out that plug, and hard wire the ends together, frequently that plugs connection is not tight enough, and will result in F2, if that does not fix it, replace the sensor.

We have parts for your Kenmore range. You have a series of 3 numbers before the model number that's on your range. Those numbers tell us who manufacured your oven. Once we have this information, we call tell you which part you need to stop the E2 F3 error codes.

66993 pizza oven microwave oven combo pizza oven not heating error code f1 microwave part works

Hello, please use the chart to determine which stove you have. You will have to look at the model number. The first 3 numbers will be the series on the chart. In most cases an F1 error would require replacement of the electronic control. This part is commonly refered to as an EOC or ERC. However this type of repair is usually reserved for repair specialists.

KENMORE Range/Stove/Oven Fault Codes – 362 Series (General Electric)
F1 = Stuck Touch Pad Key - Replace Electronic Range Control (ERC).

KENMORE - 911 Series (General Electric/Roper)
F0-F1-FF = Failed transistor in Electronic Range Control (ERC).

KENMORE Range/Stove/Oven Fault Codes- 665 Series (Whirlpool)
F1-E0 EPROM Error - Electronic Range Control (ERC).
F1-E1 EPROM Error - Electronic Range Control (ERC).
F1-E2 U/L ERC Errors - Electronic Range Control (ERC).
F1-E3 Fuel Type Fail

Kill power 30 seconds-Cancel-Start/Enter-5 seconds-Should see “E” for electric-
“9” for gas-If code changes again-replace Electronic Range Control (ERC).

KENMORE - 790 Series Electronic Oven Control (Frigidaire)
F1 = Shorted Touch Pad = Electronic Range Control (EOC) Internal check sum error.
Runaway Temp = Replace Electronic Oven Control (EOC).

Kill power 30 seconds - if error returns - replace Electronic Oven Control (EOC).

Thanks

Problem with my GE Kitchenrange (Model J35CMW-1)

Keroz3n,
Welcome to Fixya,

You said, you have an error message on my display : SE:-0! I've read somewhere that it could be a faulty sensor. Is that right? If so, how can I repair it? Thanks!

How old is the range?
And the model number?

Usually this will cure and an error code.
This can reset the system.
Turn the breaker off to cut the power for 5 minutes.
Then restart the breaker and try the range.
It's like rebooting your computer when its acting strange!
Usually it corrects some error problems if they are not serious.
Or they are sometimes just a glitch.
Let me know how it works out.

RB787W H1WW UNLOC CODE ERROR

If you have a multimeter check for resistance on the lock motor. Can access from the back by taking the panel off.  Make sure you unplug the range first.  If the lock shows open then it is bad and causing your problem.  Most likely this is your problem.  The motor has to be good for the oven to work.  Let me know what you find.
