Won't dispense all the coffee from the disc. Have to push button at least two times. Descaled Help

The discs tell the machine how much water to dispense through the disc. Some discs dispense a small amount for an Espresso, others give a larger drink. Normal cups will not fill, you need smaller coffee cups for most Tassimo drinks.
Check the packet to see how much it dispenses and check with a measurement jug to see if it is working properly, you may be surprised to find it is working fine.

Esam 6700 coffee granuales go everywhere

Hi guys, This issue has been winding me up for ages. I've had the machine serviced by Kenwood Delonghi and after about 8 months the problem reoccurs. I think I've sorted it now though.
If you remove the infuser and push on the metal disc it will go down in to the camber / Cylinder, this can be quite hard at first but this is why the problem occurs, the slide doesn't' go up and down the camber/cylinder.

What I do now is soak the whole infuser in soapy water for 10 minutes and then move the infuser up and down in the cylinder (this can be a little hard at first but it frees up as it gets clean) then clean and dry it all off. Then if you use a bit of lubricant, you can buy this but I just used frylite and then moved the piston in the cylinder up and down to free it up. You will see all of the coffee build up start to come out. Keep cleaning and moving it under the water and it cleans it out properly. Using the frylite acts as a food safe lubricant to facilitate this movement. Keep it moving until it moves up and down freely. Once you are confident that the piston can move up and down freely, reinstall and get the machine turned back on and hey presto. Nice coffee, no mess inside the machine and more importantly, no grounds in the bottom of your coffee 8-)

I have Delonghi ESAM 6900....when using the automatic coffee function when it put the milk in the cup it's not very hot...???? I have put the coffee to extra hot....but still in the cup it's like...

If this ESAM is like the earlier 3500, the water heater element is actually a pair of heater elements in parallel but in the same aluminium moulded unit. Being in parallel they act independently
of each other. If one goes open circuit then not enough heat is supplied to the water. Result is coffee a bit hotter than luke-warm.
The only answer is to buy a new part. You can't replace the single duff element because it's in the moulding.
