La Marzocco espresso machine troubleshooting

My 1991 La Marzocco Linea has been in storage (heated/inside our house)for 2 years and now I would like to use it, but it wont hold pressure in the steam boiler. It seems to be leaking steam out of the top. Any suggestions? The connections seem tight-should I take them off to look for??? Do they have washers or? what else might the problem be. The machine heats up just fine- just loses the pressure.

Steam was coming out of the smaller valve(looks like a pressure relief valve)

It appears that the steam leak fixed itself (the stem on the smaller valve popped up where it was down before). But now the expansion valve in the drain box is squealing. I'm going to clean it up but I don't know how tight to tighten it afterwards- any tips?

Where is the steam coming from the small valve on the top or the big tall one? If it is the tall one then the problem is in the block electrical box(pressure stat) on the left above the element, that may be stuck and not telling the machine that it has enough pressure turn off the elements.

To set expansion valve, make sure pump is set to correct pressure br running the head and making sure the bottom gauge reads 9 to 9.5 bars. If mot loosen or tighten the nut or slotted screw on the brass pump head while the head is running(it better to see which way you need to go, by letting it run), after that is set make sure machine is at full operating pressure(1.2 bars on the top gauge). Then check standing bottom gauge(heads must not be running) the reading should at times go to 12 bars and then back down to about 3 or 4 depending on incomg water line pressure. If it does not get to 12 then adjust the expansion valve(long valve in the drain box) tightenning will give more pressure and so on. Adjust to 12 bars, a small amount of qater will escape the valve about a drop a second.

I have a Marzocco Linea and need to drain the boilers for storage. Can anyone tell me how to do this, please

Look at the bottom of the tank they have a red valve or a plug.
Once is off and cool down, Open the valve or remove the plug.
Open the steam valve (to allow the air in)to speed up the process.

How do I increase grouphead pressure on la marzocco linea 2 group?

To increase dispense pressure you turn the adjustment screw at the pump. When pulling a shot (use espresso) on one group the bottom needle of the gauge should read 9bars while pulling the shot.

La Marzocco Expresso g3 how do you reouble

Check the thermostat on the top of the back boiler, if the red pin is up then, make sure that there is water in the boiler then push in pin and turn machine on. Now comes the exciting part we have to find out why the boiler overheated, is it because the elements are damaged or the pressure stat is not working properly.
