SOURCE: Nokia 3220 just dead....

had this unit before and never had a problem, a friend of mine is using it now, the fone is more than 2 years old and still going. With regards to your problem, a software reflash would be the first option

SOURCE: Nokia e63 won't switch on or charge

hello,

this have nothing to do with your phone battery and the phone charger

from your statement what you need to do to fix up the problem is that you have to make a change of your phone charging port this is well the problem is from
the charging port bad

dole it will give a sign that it charging but the same time it will discharge the power and this can cause a damage on the battery bass on constant charging

what you need to do is that you are to make a change or replace the port with a better one

if you can not do the fix up your self then you will have to take it to a very good phone work shop around you to do the fixing then your phone will work fine again

thank you .

How to charge?

Has the MP3 actually been charged? Try charging from a different source and see if a charge light comes on. Failing that, whilst still connected to the laptop have a look in "my computer" (or however the laptop drives are accessed) and see if the MP3 is showing up as a drive. If it isn't there then I would suggest there is no connection between the 2 and therefore no charging has taken place and a dead MP3 will not start up.

When i remove my charger, the laptop turns off.

As lond as the battery is still accepting charge from the charger and will run ok on a battery, I wouldn't worry. Pulling the AC power cord isn't a good idea when the laptop is running anyway.

However, what you describe sounds like a dead battery that will no longer accept a charge. Even a battery showing 100% charged can still fail, as it drains in seconds if dead. What kills most batteries is leaving them in the laptop afetr they have charged and running on ac power.

Hi there.. I believe that you are one of those very active and busy type people who are always on the move. The general reason I believe that you fone is behaving this way is because you do not allow your fone to charge properly, therefore limiting the lifespan of the battery.

My advice: -try and drain you battery dead until you are unable to turn it on at all.
- secondly, charge your fone till it says fully charged.
-thirdly, when using your fone you can either 1). repeat the previous steps and this time drain it by playin music or 2). try using it with caution..
-lastly, next time you decide to charge your fone make sure it is dead/off till you charge it.It should last you a good 2days if all goes well.

These steps can help you prolong the life of your battery and save you $50 to buy a new one..
