How to change thermostat

The Termostat fit inside the Termostat Housing. It normally links to one of the radiator hoses leading from the engine block or radiator. Depending on the model you have, the termostat housing needs to be opened, the old termostat removed and the new termostat inserted. It's quiet simple. Before closing up, make sure that the both surfaces on the housing are clean and free from dirt and old sealant. If you remove a gasket, then replace with new gasket. If the housing takes a rubber O ring, then it is advisable to replace this.

Inside my fridge there is a round manual termostat that is numbered 1...to 7 i like my fridge cold so what 1 would i have 2 have it on ..also up over the top of the door there is a button wit a pic of a...

firstly the button that turns orange is the freezer "fast freeze"control, you use this when you have defrosted it or move it to another house, the control in the fridge should be set so that the interior is at +2c to +5c,1 is the warmest 7 is the coldest,if you havnt got a fridge thermometer,do the lettuce test,if the leaves go black/soggy,its too cold.

My 94 gmc sierra has no heat, new heater core and blower works, also has new termostat...any suggestions?

You Might want to Check your Heater Control Valve,Its located under your Hood between 1 Heater Hose and your Water Pump. Its Vacum Operated and could be manual as well.Have someone turn your heat on and Off while you watch under the Hood at the Heater Control Valve to See if you see it Move.Or could have a Leak.More than Likely its Frozen Closed not allowing the Hot Water to Run Through Your Heater ore ,Which Results in No HOT AIR blowing inside. Try This 1st.
