I have a small bearing puller or you can use what is called a cheese cutter/bearing splitter to do this. On some bearings I have to crush the outer race in a vise and then remove the inner. Last resort use 2 small screwdrivers and apply equal pressure to try and push off.

Bosch demolition hammer bearings are ceased up, how can I remove it properly to replace?

Ok here goes. Purchase or use the bearing cover nut 3613461500 that you have taken from the base of the machine. and drill a 6mm hole in it. remove the armature from the machine and measure how far the end of the armature sticks out of the bearing. then fit the cover nut onto the bearing holder and whilst supporting the cover nut use a puller or press to press the armature off the bearing through the cover nut. Replace the bearing in the holder and press the bearing and holder back onto the armature until the amount of armature shaft showing is to the same distance that measured in the first place. Hope this helps.

Hi, My Bosch 11232 rotary hammer drill sparks heavily in the rear housing it almost appears that the armature is wobbling, I appreaciate any help

you have a bearing problem if it is wobbling and possibly armature damage. You can go to and look at a parts breakdown for disassembly. You can remove the cover to see if the bearing has collapsed. Let me know.

Drill over heated under normal use. RPMs Dropped and did not come back up. What

If it became that HOT I would think the motor is a problem, they are not built to withstand a lot of heat. If this is an electrical tool I would look at the bearings and also the armature/field for discoloration. Get back to me with the brand and model and I will try and find you a breakdown so you can see what you are getting into.

Reciprocating saw armature removal

usually there is a screw in the diaphragm to hold that assembly tight. You need to remove the brushes first and you might need to GENTLY pry the diaphragm from the motor housing. Then using a soft blow hammer tap the armature out of the plate. I would recommend replacing the bearings and brushes when doing the armature. Let me know if you need more assistance.

Drill Is Dead Fuse O.K.

Check the brushes for wear.
Most likely the cord has a broken wire , usually happens close to the handle of the drill.
To test, split the case ( puzzle screwdriver bits are avaliable from hobby shops ) and run a test light on the cord from the plug to the switch.
If the cord is ok , test the switch , they are quite flimsy on De Walt tools so be careful.
If the cord is faulty cut the damaged section out and shorten it.
If the switch, replace it . Check price, they are very hard to get here in New Zealand and very expensive.
If the Brushes, these should be avaliable from your De Walt retailer.
While you have your drill apart, check the bearings, De Walt uses common sizes, easily avaliable from a bearing shop and prone to seizing up and burning out the armature.

Broken driving sharft

you can get schematics at

the only way (without harm the armature) is to use a bearing puller or the bearing press with the separator. maybe u can loan it from autozone of advance auto parts, cause is a common tool among car mechanics.

Bosch Brute hammer, how to change brush set?

If you remove the cover (#53)(4 bolts #104) then the the bearing end plate will come out,but the armature will also come out as the bearing is pressed onto the armature. If you want to get the two apart you will have to unthread the bearing cover(#6), then remove the nut below it(#9) then press the armature out of the bearing.

I need a bearing or all rotor for my makita hammer driver drill

They dont list just a bearing for the armature. They sell as an assembly. The part number for it is 629831-4. if you want to look at a breakdown of this tool go to and type in your model number and click on parts breakdown.
