I neeed a USER Manual for ACER MB.SE109.002 Aspire Desktop Board Motherboard

I believe what you are asking for, is a Motherboard Manual, for the motherboard used in an Acer Aspire M5400 desktop computer,

Not available.

The motherboard is made FOR Acer, by a motherboard manufacturer.
In this case the manufacturer does not supply information.
Acer does.

Motherboard,

http://www.shopping.com/acer-acer-mb-se109-002-aspire-desktop-board-motherboard/info

Specifications,

http://support.acer.com/acerpanam/desktop/2010/acer/Aspire/AspireM5400/AspireM5400sp2.shtml

With the above information you can see;

1) Processor Support.

2) Uses a Socket AM3 processor socket,

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Socket_AM3

[ Look at the list of AMD Phenom II, and Athlon II, processors.
Now look at this chart, {Scroll down},

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_AMD_Phenom_microprocessors#Phenom_II_series

Now look at the processor socket used for these processors. Scroll the page down, compare using the charts ]

3) The motherboard chipset is an AMD 880G,

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_AMD_chipsets#A-Link_Express_III

Here you see more information on what the motherboard supports.

4) The Ram Memory used is DDR3 Sdram, at either 1066MegaHertz, or 1333MHz.
(That is PC3-8500, and PC3-10600, respectively)

The Maximum TOTAL Amount for the motherboard is 8GB.
There are 4 Ram Memory slots.
The Maximum Amount for EACH one is 2GB.

NOTE*
O/S = Operating System.
Windows XP, and Windows 7, are two examples of an O/S.

With a 32-bit O/S, the maximum amount of Ram Memory that will be recognized, is 3-1/2 GigaByte. (3.5GB)

You have to have a 64-bit O/S for above 3.5 GB.
(8GB? You need a 64-bit O/S)

ALSO, don't just use any Ol' DDR3 ram memory.

I doubt you can go into BIOS Setup, and change the Voltage, and ram timings, for a high-performance ram memory.

In otherwords 'gamer' ram memory.

JEDEC sets a standard for Ram Memory.

One of the standards is the Voltage. Standard default voltage set for your motherboard by JEDEC, for the Ram Memory, is 1.5 Volts. (DC)

MAXIMUM voltage is 1.575

That Acer board is not capable of handling DDR3 high-performance ram memory, that will exceed 1.5 volts.

(Probably isn't a BIOS upgrade either)

What is it that you seek? Post back in a Comment.

joecoolvette

I have an Aspire S80. I need to upgrade my Graphics Card to Enable Winows 7 Installation. Motherboard is ACER E661 GXM

As far as I have been able to find out, the motherboard has an 8X AGP slot available for a new video card. Companies like TigerDirect and Newegg have several to choose from. There are many other vendors as well; I just do lots of business with those two.

In most basic consumer desktops, the power supply is just barely adequate for the supplied hardware. If you're adding a new video card, you should think about replacing your power supply as well. The new card will need more power than was originally required, and the current supply might not be able to deliver. A new supply in the 500-watt range would be a reasonable choice.

This would also be a good time to add more memory unless you already have. Windows 7 won't be happy with under 1GB, and your motherboard allows for up to 2GB. The board has 2 memory slots for DDR RAM. I think Acer uses PC3200 (400-Mhz) memory.

Good luck with your upgrade, and thanks for using Fixya!

Motherboard identification

Wait, wait, wait, why you said dead, did you smell the burn from your PC? or just wont turn on. Try to remove the power chords from your PC, or disconnect from your wall outlet in 5-10 min. then turn it on. ok, or check my message below.

This is your big chance to learn to build your own PC if you are interested. Don't worry I will help you and this is fun, and I'm sure you'll be proud of your self after. Here is what you do. You carefully and take your time to do. Dismantle your PC by removing first the connector of the power supply connected to the motherboard. Remove all the ribbons too. A ribbon is the hard drive cable, CDroms and the floppy drive. Remove all of these, all wires connected to the mother board. Please take note that, the number one
wire on the ribbon is the red wire. the red tells you the number one, so remember which side is the red when you remove all the cables so that when you reinstall, place into the same position and connection. Now, if all disconnected, check the motherboard screws and unscrew it and carefully remove the motherboard off from the case and after that remove the memmories off their slots and also the CPU. Now, Go to Weirdstuff.com and look for a mother board that fits the pins of your CPU and your memmories or you could Upgrade your Pc by choosing more faster than your PC. Check your cpu label how many GHz and buy more higher cpu with the motherboard that the same memory slots, check carefully, count how many trace and how long and the grove.

Acer Aspire T-180 Memory Upgrade question

Hello, You might be able to add 2GB more. 1GB per slot. You need to get the model # off your motherboard and verify what the maximum amount of memory it will support. 1GB per slot would be 4GB total but some Operating systems will only support 3GB. So some might be wasted if that is the case. You would need to use the same memory type. So if existing is PC2-4300, use the same. Hope this helps.

Foxconn manual for a n15235

There is no Foxconn mainboard (and will never be...) called N15235 although this is printed on the board. The right name is P4M800P7MB-RS2H and you can find all stuff here: LINK

P.S.: you can find the right model number printed on the board beside the RAM slot near the CPU and on small label above.
