I need to replace the transformer inside my 12 volt charger. I can not find who makes the ES -66-287rev5 transformer. Need help.

If you have the skill to determine the transformer input is open, I would expect you have the skill to replace a transformer. Based on this assumption: determine the input voltage (120 vac?), determine the output voltage (14 vac?), determine the power requirements (output voltage times the charging current), find a transformer at www.digikey.com or www.mouser.com or www.newark.com.

Hot tub won't come on

Start at the spa.
  • Do you have voltage coming to the terminal strip in the control box?
  • Is it the correct voltage?
  • Do you have voltage at any point after that?
  • Is there power coming out of the transformer?

these are the starting points to determine if you have a bad circuit board or a bad transformer.

Have a McIntosh MC602 used to drive two 4 ohm subwoofers. Worked perfectly until a close lightening strike took out several theater components. Even though it was turned off during the storm it was plugged...

it seems that the right channel is blown. the unit has no fuses inside, most likelly output transistors are gone. not easy fixable, you need to bring it to a repair shop. if you are in nj you may brong to ebcelectronics

Transformer keeps blowing on the high side after about 15 Min? Have changed out many transformers and blower motor.

Replace the transformer with a 75va resettable transformer.
Check all wiring for a loose connection at the unit and the disconnect and the breaker panel.
Double check ground wires.
Check the low voltage side for a back feed short from a faulty component.
Could be caused from a bad thermostat wire.
Do a continuity reading on stat wires to look for a short.
Do an amp draw reading on the unit to determine an increase in amperage.

Water to selanoid ok wont come out other side it is a new selanoid

Hello. the first thing you need to determine is if the solenoid is getting 24 volts when the furnace turns on, you should be getting 24 volts at the solenoid valve. If not you need to start at the transformer and see if you are getting 24 volts there, if not then most likely the transformer is bad and must be replaced, if you are getting 24 volts at the transformer then check the wiring and make sure it;s tight. also check the humidistat and sail switch/ current sensing relay to make sure they are working properly.

No humidity in the house

Hello, the first to confirm is if you are receiving 24 volts at the transformer, if you are then check for 24 volts going into the humidistat and out of the humidistat, if voltage is confirmed there then check if your solenoid is recieving 24 volts, if it is and the solenoid is not letting water into the humidifier than your solenoid is bad and must be replaced. If you do not have 24 volts at the transformer then turn off power to the transformer and set your meter to read continuity, you should have resistance if not the transformer is bad and must be replaced. If you have power to the humidifier and not humidifieing properly then you have to set the humidistat according to what the outdoor temp is, the outside temp determines what setting and % of humidity you should have in your home. Here is a what it should be
-20 set to 15%
-10 set to 20%
0 set to 25%
10 set to 30%
20 set to 35%
above 30 set to 40%

Have M&S systems Model MC602 Can't seem to reset after power outage.

I called the company and this is what they said:

Based on the problem description, there is nothing you can check to try and get the radio to work again. The most likely cause is a Tuner Module failure due to electrical surge. You will need to send the MC602 to us for service. We will need you full address, phone number, and the serial number or date code from the back of the MC602. The serial number/date code will be on a white sticker and may have a barcode on the sticker as well. When receive you information, we will issue you a Return of Product Authorization (RPA) number and instructions for returning the unit. There will be a repair charge and that can be provided with the RPA number.

No voltage on the red terminal to power up the track. open'd up unit looking for broken on loose connection but found none.

Check the primary and secondary windings with an Ohm meter to determine if the transformer is bad. You should get measurable resistance through both coils. Hope this helps
