Colour problems on idell nspiron 6400

Hi. I have a dell inspiron 6400. when i turn it on the icons are highlighted in a different colour and there are changes to the borders etc when I open a word document.It wont let me log onto the internet (starts flashing) or open itunes.But, once I leave it for 5 minutes and let the screensaver come on (for even just second) it will all clear up and work perfectly. any suggestions

This colour fade up is due to two reason! first is, there might be any megnatic substance near your system. or else there would be an electric problem..............have a great da :-)

How toturn on wireless in dell inspiron 6400
There is a wireless switch in Dell ... So try to press and hold the Fn key and then press either F2 or F4 (whichever has the wireless icon made on it).

Dell inspiron 6400 Battery problem
what i would suggest is to check the bios there may be a new flash download on the dell website, my wife has a inspiron 1525, which is plugged in and says not charging, the battery will not go above 0%, but we have had to send it to dell (still under warranty) faulty motherboard. if the bios is up to date, there could be a hardware issue with the battery or motherboard

Most probably the seating of the processor on the motherboard is not proper
