It's easy! Open amazon.com, navigate to "Accounts and Lists" (top right menu item). From here, open "Your Account". Look for "Amazon Wallet". To the right of this section, you'll see "Gift Cards". The second item down is "Redeem a Gift Card". When you click on this, you may first have to log into your account again, but once you've done this, on the next screen you'll be asked to enter the "claim code". Your $10 should then be applied as a credit to any purchase you then make.
Open amazon.com and click on "Account and Lists" towards the top right of your screen. Under the "Amazon Wallet" section, look for "Gift Cards" and click on "Redeem a Gift Card". Enter the claim code when asked to, and the balance will be credited to you and to any purchase you make. That should work!
Enter your claim code and click Apply to Your Balance.
Note: If your order total is more than your gift card balance, the extra will be paid for by your default payment card.
If you want to save your gift card balance for another occasion, you can choose to check out without using it when you select your payment method. Simply uncheck the box next to Use your £X.XX Gift and promotional balance. If you don't see this screen during checkout, you can click Change under the Payment Method heading on the final page before you place your order.
To redeem your gift card, go to the Amazon site and search for Gift Cards then click on"Apply a gift card to your account." . Your purchases will be read in the "current Balance" and will remove the $ amount on your card, with each purchase. Enjoy spending!
If you're having problems redeeming a gift card to your account, it's possible that the gift card claim code has already been redeemed to your account. After you've entered the claim code on our site, we'll keep the balance in your account for use on future purchases so that you don't need to enter the claim code again. If you're seeing an error message that the gift card has already been redeemed, it's likely because the gift card claim code has already been applied to your account. To check whether the funds are already on your account, view your gift card balance in Your AccountYour Account. If you're still having problems, check the Gift Card Terms & Conditions to make sure your order meets the rules and restrictions for paying with a gift card. If your Amazon.com Gift Card claim code is scratched off or can't be clearly read, you can contact us with the 16 or 30 digit number on the back of the card.If the gift card is for a retailer other than Amazon.com, please contact that retailer for assistance.
