I have a Central Pneumatic 38898 pancake compressor that will not shut off when the pressure reaches pre-set PSI. I have replaced the pressure switch but to no avail...HELP!!

There must be a blockage on the fitting where the pressure switch goes in that stops the air pressure from reaching the regulator. Try taking the switch off and turn the compressor on and see if air comes out the hole

Porter cable pancake compressor will not shut off replaced manifold, still the same.

I would look at the pressure switch which shuts the electric off when the air pressure reaches its limit also check all wires going to and from this switch. Best checked with a multi-meter.

I have a husky 5gal. oilless pancake compressor it leaks air around outlet tube/hose rite at the pressure switch housing. How do you fix the line

You have to replace defective hose. Buy and fit a better / higher pressure range to prevent this condition. Check also all your hose connector for malfunction.

Mastercraft compressor - one pancake type tank ... need pressure

You do not need to use factory replacement switch. Mos t universal pressure switches are set to shut off at 120-130 psi. You will need to check the placement of the unloader valve (1/4 line from check valve) and the quantity of ports as some switches have only one port and others have 3-4. Check ebay for good match and low price. Good Luck

Portable oiless compressor wont pressurize

If there is pressure at the pump, either:

1) The tank check valve isn't opening (it's located where the line from the head enters the tank - usually extends into the tank, and the the pressure switch unloader line comes off of it as well)
2) The pressure switch unloader is bleeding off the air. This is a small valve on the side of the pressure switch. It should close when the compressor is running and open when the compressor shuts off to bleed off head pressure.

Compressor won't start!

Try adjusting the pressure regulator to a higher out put pressure. My friend had one the tank was full but the regulator was shut off and it would start until air was allowed out of the tank droping pressure below 90-100psi the low limit of the cut in/out switch

My air compressor (pancake task force) cycles on and off at around 100 psi. Is this an adjustment or could the pressure switch be bad? Could not find my particular compressor in the product listing.

EITHER YOUR PRESSURE SWITCH IS BAD OR YOUR TANK IS COMPLETELY FULL OF WATER AND THERE IS LITTLE ROOM FOR AIR. ALWAYS TAKE YOUR SWITCH WITH YOU WHEN PURCHASING A REPLACEMENT.
