Advent 9115 diagram

Sounds like the battery on the internal motherboard has finally stopped.
Choices:

• Take it to a computer fix-it person.
• Buy a new one.

I need a wiring schematic for advent adv35 overhead 10' dvd player

look for the model number of the battery and look on ebay. watch out for cheap batteries since they won't last long.

you will need to open up the laptop and locate a small battery connected with a plug. once you replace the battery, you'll need to set up the bios again and save. restart normally.

It seems there's no free manual for this model, if you wish to buy one, check out here (click here), scroll down to the middle of the page and locate "Advent 9115" and then click "Buy Now" [I can't guarantee since I haven't bought one from them, it's on your own risk].

Sounds like your battery is dying.

Laptops should not be run on mains power all the time, it kills the battery. Should be run on battery until battery warning occurs, then plug in to recharge.

You'll need a new battery at this stage.

Wow. It's very hard to find it seems.

If you have a Recovery CD, it really, REALLY, should be located on there somewhere (search for .pdf or .doc files on the cd when it's in your drive).

Otherwise, you might have to register for free with these guys to get support.
