You can pair your phone with another phone if your phone has either bluetooth or infrared. If the phone does have any of the tools, then go to settings on phone, then look for connectivity, then select bluetooth if it has and select ON to activate your bluetooth, then search for the phone you want to pair with...the same method applies to infrared but your phone must have an infrared port for connectivity reason. Check with jeep.com/uconnect to make sure it is compatible. The phone is the problem 9 time out of 10. The cell phone provider can upgrade the software to make it compatible with the uconnect.

check jeep.com/uconnect just to make sure the model is ok. Sometime your cell phone provider can update the software to make it work better with the device.
