Is this a Kitchen Aid? Is it possible to buy this circuit board from somewhere?

This is a kitchen aid. BUT!!!! it is an international model that was sold in countries with 220 volts. Look underneath the mixer for a white tag it should have a model number and a serial number, if you can get us those numbers then we can help with the parts. Hope this helps.

What model kitchenaid was made in december of 1973?

Is the brushed band around the head missing or worn off? The model is on that band. If it worn or missing in order to correctly answer your question I need more information. Is your mixer a tilt head or a bowl lift variety? Did you look on the bottom of the base for a serial number? Some models had them there. Can you describe the ceramic piece a little better? Many models shard the same internal parts and it might not be too difficult to locate that part.

A metal dowel just came out of my kitchenaid mixer, and I can't get it back in. It's supposed to hold the neck of the machine stable.

OLSONRENEE7- Sorry to hear about your mixer. You don't mention the model number, but I'm assuming you have a tilt head mixer, and the metal dowel you found came out of the bottom of the pedestal. Is that correct? If your anwer is yes, then that metal dowel is the pin hinge that your mixer head pivots around going from the up to the down position when mixing.
The inspection and troubleshooting of this problem is a DITY capability, particularly if your mixer is out of warranty. Just be sure to have the correct Part List manual around. If you're lacking one, you can download it from the KA website. Click on Customer Care>Locate Manuals & Guides> Enter the 6 character model number, and then select Parts List file. You can check the page titled "Base and Pedestal Unit", and look for the part similar to the part you found. Normally this part should not come out during normal mixer use, so I suspect you may require new one.
As far as parts go, here are four potential vendors in no particular order: RepairClinic.com; mendingshed.com; searspartsdirect.com; partstore.com. Prices for the same part vary widely between vendors, so do your comparison shopping. Good luck, I hope this helps. Howard, Burke, VA

From day one my new kitchenAid mixer shakes all over the counter. Is there an adjustment to correct the shaking?

The model 32685 is not a correct model, it is most likely a serial number It can be found usually on the underside of the unit. Usually letters followed by numbers. However there is no adjustment unfortunately, It could be a manufacture defect possibly. Or maybe damaged during the original shipping. The only thing that could be done to correct this is by replacing the base or depending on the age of it, call Whirlpool warranty and see if they can cover it for you. Hope this helps

Thanks

ORDERING PARTS

Hi Pamela. You haven't stated what brand, model # or type of machine that you have. I'm going to have to guess, and guessing is never good in this business. I'll guess that it's a Kitchenaid meat grinder since your post was under the Kitchenaid heading. If that's the case, then goto the Kitchenaid website www.kitchenaid.com and enter your model#, locate the parts catalog for your unit and download it. There you'll find the part numbers for the needed parts. You can order these parts directly from Kitchenaid. Be prepared to wait at least a month for your parts to arrive. The Kitchenaid Parts Dept. has only two speeds...Dead slow and stop. Good luck!
