There aren't much info to work from. Usually you have to go to Settings->WiFi
Then select your network (there might be more than one so make sure you know the name of the network, also known as SID).
Your phone should remember the network automaticly.

Wi-Fi provides wireless Internet access over distances of up to 100 meters (00 feet).

To use Wi-Fi on your phone, you need access to a wireless access point or "hotspot". The availability
and range of the Wi-Fi signal depends on the number, infrastructure, and other objects
through which the signal passes.

Turning Wi-Fi on and connecting to a wireless network
From the Home screen, press MENU, and then tap Settings > Wireless & networks.
Select the Wi-Fi check box to turn Wi-Fi on. The phone then scans for available wireless

Tap Wi-Fi settings. The network names and security settings of detected Wi-Fi networks
are displayed in the Wi-Fi networks section.
If the wireless network you want to connect to is not in the list of detected networks,
scroll down the screen, and then tap Add Wi-Fi network. Enter the wireless network
settings, and then tap Save.

Tap the Wi-Fi network you want to connect to.
If you selected an open network, you will be automatically connected to the network.
If you selected a network that is secured with WEP, enter the key and then tap

Depending on the network type and its security settings, you may also need to enter more information
or choose a security certificate.
When your phone is connected to a wireless network, the Wi-Fi icon appears in the
status bar and tells you the approximate signal strength (number of bands that light up).
The next time your phone connects to a previously accessed secured wireless network, you
will not be prompted to enter the key or other security information again, unless you reset
your phone to its factory default settings.

Mobile network settings

To input settings/choose from presets...

Press Menu Button (The one with four small squares on it)Go through menu and tap "Settings"
Tap "Wireless and Networks"
Scroll to and tap "Mobile Networks"
Tap on "Access Point Names/APN's"
If your Network is not listed press
The Menu Button again (Four Small Squares)
and tap "New Apn"
You will obviously need the settings.
You can probably find these on your network providers website.
Most Service Providers offer a text setup service.
This will send a text message to your phone which you read and delete, then restart your phone and settings should be set up automatically.
Check your Networks website to see if this service is available.

I hope this helps!?!

I want w995 network problems

The problem with the phone is either is hit a hard object or you need to select the network on phone.

To select the network on the phone, you need to go to the menu, select the settings, go to phone settings, select the network option, you can use either the manual or automatic settings, which ever you select, you will pick your home network.

The other means is to contact the operating network of your phones via the customer care to lay complains so they will be able to help you solve the problem if it is from their network.

If that does not work then it means the network port of your phone is faulty and requires you to seek a phone repairman assistance.

Take care and good luck

I have network problem with nokia 3120

Hi, problem like this is usually two ways:
The network setting being tampered inside the phone. you can check the network settings of the phone and see if the network setting is not tampered.

To get to the network setting inside the phone follow this link:

Go to menu,
enter settings,
scroll to phone and click enter,
scroll again and enter operator selection,
you will see two options,Which are automatic network selection and manual,
Click on automatic.

After clicking on automatic, you can check the phone if the network service is back.

Seconding if the network service is not back, that means that the network problem is beyond manual settings. It will be a board problem.
You will need to contact a skillful personnel for help.

I guess that will solve the problem

Network problem

Try checking your phones Network settings by opening your D900i's menu - Select Settings / Select option 6 (Network Services)
  • 4 - Network Selection: Should be set to Automatic. You can also try selecting Manual & selecting your phone service provider (Vodafone, Telstra etc)
  • 7 - Band Selection: Should be set to GSM 900/1800
Hope this helps. You can also call Samsung Technical support on: 1300 362 603. They will be able to check some additional settings including some that you can't see on your phone.

Internet connection in my phone

Your internet connection depends on your phone network because internet settings vary form network to network and phone to phone.

If you are using a nokia phone, go to settings and enable the packet data. Then you go to web settings and fill in the following: User name, Password, I.P Address, Port e.g 8080, Home page. All these are Manual settings.

Or better still, you contact your phone network provider
