On boot : (when logo dissapears) just start hitting F8 and choose last known good configuration from the menu ... that will fix it , but when you are back in windows delete the specified kb929777 from list of updates (control panel->windows update --> from left side panel choose list of updates, search by installation date or by kb, then click and deinstall)

Hi,
a 6ya Technician can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repair professionals here in the US.
click here to Talk to a Technician (only for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

SOURCE: unable to start pc

It's a BSOD(Blue Screen of Death) error. Just try re-installing the operating system. If it does'nt help , check your RAM.

After clicking print to PDF a schedule, Suretrak shows error message that says Suretrak Application Manager has encountered an error and needs to close. No other info.

I would try reinstalling the software. Sounds like a file got corrupted. If that does not fix it:

Have installed the latest patches for SureTrack?
Have you updated Windows?

If so, did the problem start after one of the updates?

What is an ArcCon ac application error0xc00000006?

What you describe falls under the general category of svchost.exe issues. Svchost.exe is used by your computer to access the registry and check the services to load during system startup.

arccon.ac is an ArcSoft Connect Notifier. There are two possibilities why its happening:
  1. Microsoft releases regular security updates that are installed automatically on your computer by the Automatic Updates feature, which is enabled by default on your computer. The Svchost.exe Application error usually appears due to a problem with a recent update.
Closing the error message might freeze your computer. To fix this error, perform the following tasks.
  1. Open Control Panel, select Performance and Maintenance, and then select Services.
  2. In the System Properties dialog box, open the Automatic Updates tab.
  3. Next, select the Turn Off Automatic Updates option.
  4. Select Apply and then OK to accept your changes and exit the System Properties dialog box.
  5. Restart your PC.
  6. Ensure that you are connected to the Internet and then select the Windows Update command from Start > All Programs to manually update Windows.
  7. After the update is complete, enable the automatic updates again from System Properties > Automatic Updates.
This should rectify your application error. However, if the error keeps reappearing, then you might turn off automatic updates permanently and manually perform Windows updates at regular intervals.

Errors Caused By Virus Infection
Let's hope that this isn't the case. Lengthy procedure but if you are still having trouble, we'll cross that bridge when we get to it.

"close other video streaming application to start video"

The same thing happened to me. But I believe this happened because I upgraded my Vista from 32-bit to 64-bit. How I solved it? The same way someone earlier suggested: update the driver:
1. Start the device manager (Click Start, type "device", and then click on "Device Manager" which appears as part of the search)
2. click the + next to "Imaging Devices"
3. Right click the "Integrated WebCam"
4. Click Properties
5. Click the option "Update Driver"
6. Automatically the updated driver will be loaded.
7. Restart your computer.

Hope this works for you.

Can't launch camera software after updating. windows XP

Always Start an Application in Administrator Mode on Windows Vista. Many utilities need to be run as administrator in order to function properly. All shortcuts in Windows Vista have a special property that you can set that will allow the application to run as Administrator. To set this property, just right-click on any shortcut, and click the Advanced button on the Shortcut page to get to the Advanced Properties dialog. You’ll see a dialog with a checkbox for “Run as administrator”. From now on, the application will always run as administrator if you use the shortcut to launch it.
