The trimmer is working fine but as soon as it gets hot while working the engine leaks oil and it can be seen on the cover but I cannot see where it comes from. Is there possibly any seals that can be perrished or what can be the problem as I am worried that with continued use all the oil will eventually leak out and the engine will cease up.

SOURCE: I've lost the user manual for my Ryobi 25cc

Ryobi RPT 2543c This is a 2 stroke engine, so no dipstick. You mix oil with the petrol (ratio 50:1) or 200ml of two stroke oil per litre of petrol, and that's how the engine is lubricated. Hope this helps, arvidis@btopenworld.com

SOURCE: ryobi RPT 254c strimmer, how

You are winding the line on the spool in the wrong direction. The line should be wound on in the opposite direction of the way that the head spins during operation.

I have a ryobi rpt 320e grass trimmer. my question is when pushing the prime bubble , should fuel come out of the small hole on the plate under the diaphram bowl.

the small hole should have a line attached to it so fuel goes to the carb --the bulb --has inlet from tank to bulb -outlet from bulb to carb

My ryobi rpt 3000 dies when I push the throttle down?

Possibly a fueling issue. When you operate the throttle, you basically open up a butterfly on the carb which allows more air to enter the carb. This in turn pulls more fuel through the carb to even out the fuel air mix and maintain acceleration. It sounds like your engine isn't getting enough fuel drawn through for the amount of air the engine is getting.
Check you fuel filter, fuel lines.
Clean your carb and replace any fatigued diaphragms.

My ryobi RPT 321 MA trimmer just turns off whilst running so I don't know if it's failing to pump petrol. What might the problem be?

There are two screws you can adjust for rpm. H for high and L for low. Give that a... wait for it... WACK.

How do you check engine oil level on ryobi 2 strike line trimmer rpt-3000

Small two stroke engines don't have oil in the engine that you can check like a car engine has. The oil is a special "two stroke engine oil", that is mixed with the fuel in a preset ratio. Like 50:1 or a ratio similar depending on the manufacturer of the equipment. You would typically premix a certain amount of the oil with gasoline in a can as directed on the label.

I would add a little choke while trying to accelrate, if that works, then something in the carb if blocked usually..

When in operation the Ryobi S430 string trimmer leaks oil continuously. How can I fix this problem?

Ryobi told me the unit can't have the s430 trimmer bottom end raised higher than the engine at any time, or it will leak. Apparently they released a product to compete with other companies for cheap 4 cycle trimmers without much care for the end user.
