My ac fan works but the compressor won,t kick on

The fan on the condenser or air handler? Check the capacitor on the condenser. If you don't have a meter that does uf you can take the amp draws of the comp multiplied by 2650, divided by the voltage between com and herm on the cap. If cap is good be sure compressor is not off on thermal overload, cool with water hose, careful to not soak electrical. If not hot and cap good , try hard start kit. If still no compressor ,ohm compressor, com to start plus com to run should equal start to run on ohms. Hope this helps.

At 100 deg.it does not shutoff automatically

If your talking about a refrigerator, it never will as its goal is to try and cool, and its trying. It is important to know if the compressor itself is running. If there is a loose connection to the compressor via the start/over load relay (normally attaches directly onto the compressor), or if the start/over load itself is bad the compressor will not run. Best way to tell is via gauges but I doubt your frig has ports. Check to see if your compressor is really hot. Could be bad start/over load relay or bad compressor. Try unplugging your frig for say 30 min then, with your hand on top of a cool compressor, plug the frig back in and see if compressor smoothly vibrates for at least 5 min without becoming very hot or shutting off even though fan continues to run. The fact your frig is running TYPICALLY means the thermostat is calling for lower temps and the fan/compressor kick in together.

Frigidaire refrigerator/freezer side by side not kicking on. Both freezer and refrigerator not cooling.

If the unit is not cooling in either section of the appliance, you are experiencing some form of sealed system issue. This can include the compressor not working correctly, the evaporator fan not turning, or even coolant in the lines not at the correct levels to properly cool. If the compressor is running, humming, or even a little warm then that is typically normal. However if the compressor is running hot, then it is over working and the issue could be before the compressor in the evap fan, coil or coolant lines. Unless the unit is displaying an error code, often alpha-numeric, then you would need to contact your manufacturer and then a professional to move forward accurately.

Cooling fan won't come on when I turn on the AC

Your bigger problem is the compressor not kicking in. The cooling fan is not coming on because there is not enough high side pressure to turn the fan on. I would start by checking power to the compressor, fuses and relays would be inspect. Check to make sure there is the proper charge of refridegerant in the system.

GE Profile - model PDS20SBSALSS - constant clicking noise

The clicking is the compressor trying to start. If the compressor is extremely hot, try allowing it to cool. The condenser fan should run even if the compressor is out on overload; that may be the cause of the compressor failure. Check the supply to the fan and replace it if it doesn't run.If the compressor has been overheating for some time, it may be damaged and also need replacing.

Duo therm ac trips breaker

When compressor for cool tries to kick in, or even when fan only used?
Try it on fan only, not cool, then try cool and if you hear it sort of "moan" then breaker trips, that's compressor trying to kick in. Make sure you have sufficient power coming in to trailer as well, without long extension cord. Get back to me, then I can tell you which way to go from there.

I am a different person with the same problem the compressor kicks on ,the light is on but it doesnt get cold it does seem like the fan at the top isnt working the one in the middle is thank you

The compressor is running, that is a good sign. If you notice any cooling that is not a good sign. Even with the fan not running , the evaporator should have produce some cooling. Could it be that you are a condenser fan running? well, the compressor makes a distinct sound when it runs and you need to confirm that is running and not just the condenser fan.
Firstly- If you confirm that the condenser fan is running; that is, if there is one, that is good. Secondly- Check and confirm that the compressor is running Thirdly- If there is an evaporator fan inside the unit, check and confirm that is running.
If all checks okay and there is no cooling, the refrigerant might have escaped through a leak, and there will not be any cooling. You can extrapolate from my troubleshooting steps to diagnose the wine cooler problem.
Good luck
