Mouldy smell when opening the door

Run a boil wash 95' with a box of Arm and Hammer baking soda and a 4 towels. No soap. That will get rid of the smell and sanitize it with the heat.

In future, after washing, dry the water in the ridge at the bottom of the door seal and leave the machine open for a couple of hours to dry the inside of the machine.

I have turned on my cooler and it smells kind of mouldy. This is the second day of this. How do I get rid of the smell?

It could be mould, after all it uses water as a coolant. Wait for a fine day and have a look. Bleach will get rid of it.

Hotpoint wdd960

This is usually because there is water in pump which does not get drained over time. Leave the porthole door open from time to time to let the odour out. Make sure the laundry drain backflow has not dried up causing sewer smell to come through.
Run the washing machine empty using a packet of cleaning agent available from supermarket. see this site

Mouldy smell coming from the machine

Front loaders are known for building up mold and the smell.
It’s caused by using liquid detergent which is made from animal fat. Use powder. And use the minimum amount.
It’s caused by using fabric softener. Dilute it 50/50 with water.
It’s caused by the water remaining in the tub between washes. Leave the door open to allow it to dry. .
Pull the rubber door seal back and clean the mold off .

Machine smells mouldy- washing stinks!

Find out where your filter is; it is at the end of the thick hose coming down from the bottom of your tub; open up and clean out. Another possibility is there could be something stuck in your drum, feel if you could locate it. Next clean out the hoses in machine. After all this flush out with a hot wash, without clothes. People shd ask the service man where the filter is. If he knows that is.......................It gives you the biggest problem if you dont check.

Mildew smelling towels and no separate rinse cycle

the problem is your door seal if you close the door after a wash then what happens is the water goes mouldy on the inside of the door seal what you need to do is replace the door seal you will never get rid of the smell without replacing it never close the door after a wash always leave it open to make sure its your seal the easy way is to look at the inner part of the seal and it will be mouldy only thing you can do
