Question about Cobra 29 LTD CB Radio
Motorloa has made thirteen models for CB use: CB555,CC975AX,CF925AX,CM540,CR520/21,CT950AX,Motcat40,T4000A,T4005A,T4009A(CB-1135),T4010A,T4020A,T4025A(CB-1136). If you have one of these models, then it is a cb. The model number might not be on the front of the radio, Look on the back of the radio, the model number should be on a plate or sticker. Check the mic. connections at the plug, make sure none of the wires are broken or shorted. Try a different mic. to see if the recieve works, some radios need the mic plugged in to recieve. Check the antenna wire, if it goes inside the vehicle through a door opening, then make sure it is not crushed or broken. Check the wire at the connector that goes onto the radio, make sure it is not broken or loose. Try connecting an external speaker to see if the recieve works. If none of these suggestions help, then you may have to take the radio to a tech and have it diagnosed. Good Luck.
