SOURCE: Microwave heats intermittently

Doug, not not attempt repairs on your m/wave unless you have had training.
When you take off the cover even with the plug turned off, their is still charge inside the m/wave which could kill you!
sounds like the magnetron may be faulty, get your approved engineers to carry out a' power check' on the magnetron etc,

SOURCE: It runs, makes a noise with vibration, but does not hear

If you hear an unusual buzzing noise, the magnetron (the component that actually generates the microwaves) or other electronic module may be broken. This is not easily fixed; contact a service technician.

How do I remove a dometic convection oven from my CRV

If you will begin to gently take apart the compartment where the Convection oven is, you will see that it is fastened in mostly by the wood/plastic framework around it.
Usually the cord is a regular one and is plugged in behind the unit. Keep in mind how you will re-attach the framework which holds it in place when you are finished.
God bless your efforts.

could be anything in there, light turntable motor or the microwave circuitry, try low power settings check light and turntable if they work, if pops at high power circuit problem, probably cost more to repair than replace

Dometic door on convection microwave wont stay closed

Damaged or bent latch/s---unit would have to be taken apart to see if fixable or needs parts replaced.

I would Google the full model number with "parts" to see what is available for this unit.

Dometic microwave model dotr12cb runs but does not heat

The most likely cause is the magnetron or the inverter board, if the microwave was manufactured 7 years or less. It is cheaper in most cases to replace the microwave oven.
