Has it worked at all?
Else it's because your sound recording haven't been set to use the port where the SteelSeries jack is plugged in.

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

My steelseries siberia v2 headset doesn't work for my sisters dell laptop but it works for my toshiba, how do i get it to work for dell?

I don't know what kind of connection you're using, but my guess is that the headphone has a 3.5mm 4 pin connection (has 4 sections of metal on it, and uses the same style connection used in an ipod).

So the reason it will work on your computer is because your receiver has the ability to read 4 pin connections. Hers is likely only for sound (the 3 pin connection). She likely has an additional receiver for a mic, separate from the headphones (thankfully we're seeing fewer and fewer of these).

You may be able to find an adapter at Radio Shack.

How do you make recordings on your motorola L6 (record things)

Hello there,

To make recordings on your phone is quite simple. All you need to do is to go to the phones menu, select multimedia, then in the multimedia list you will see recording, then you select it, you can either make video recording or audio recording.

When you are ready just select the record button.

Shortcut to recording a vidoe, just open the camera from the menu, then you select option and select video recording, it will bring out the record option and from there you can record the video you are willing to make.

I have steelseries 5xb earphones for x360. When i chat my friends i wont be able to hear them. Everything else i hear gamesounds but not other player .I dont know wat to do???????

I had the same problem with the exactly same model of steelseries headphones! The only way that I could heare my friends talk was to change the settings in "preferences"-"Voice" and then change the "Voice Output" settings to "Play through Both" and then it worked. But the only problem is that when your friends talk, will the game Volume reduce and the chat volume increase. Hope it help! :)

Is the steelseries 7h usb headset compatable with the ps3

Hello Sixlittledev,

Although the 7H USB headset is not natively supported by PS3, you may be able to get it to work if you have a headphone jack in your TV.

You will need to connect the headset in the following manner:
Headset microphone cable -> USB card -> PS3
Headset audio cable -> 3.5mm extension cable -> TV headphone jack

Although we do not guarantee compatibility and this method is a bit cumbersome, you can get it to work this way.

My sound and audio device si not workind how do i fix it?

Hello.........
1 - r u facing NO Audio/Sound issue...?
2 - is ur Volume Control not responding ?
3 - is ur Sound and Audio Device in Control Panel Grayed out ?
4 - Do u get a msg "No Active Mixer Devices Installed....when u try to open Volume Ctrl etc etc ?

if ur ans to any one of them is Yes...then u are being spammed by Microsoft....ur Sound Control IRQ is being frozen by a recent update from Microsoft....and no file update or any sound driver update can fix it, neither Microsoft is issuing any patch to fix it….
Full solution is available in my website (Support page)...it's quite simple process to fix it, and I am not charging any money, just trying to do some service.

Audio on Dell Webcam Central And voice record isn't working

I have a Dell 1545 with Dell web cam central & I've had this issue. The problem is that Dell web cam central installs it's own microphone settings onto your laptop called something like Dell web cam Live!. This isn't the built in microphone in my laptop & maybe not yours either. You have to change the settings for your computer system & Dell web cam central. Go to start> control panel> sound> recording .. on mine there is an option for Microphone "High Definition Audio Device" ... that is the built in mic. You want that for your default & apply it. Also .. as a side note .. I disabled the web cam central Live! microphone completely from this window. Then open Dell web cam central & go to the "Record Video's" option. In the middle of this is an orange button with a video camera icon. Next to this on the same button is a little arrow pointing down .. click that. Under microphone .. choose Microphone "High Definition Audio Device" just like the sound option in control panel. I've done this & it's completely fixed. I can record videos with sound & use my built in mic in voice/video chat.
