Yes, but not very well.
That is because the fence ridge is intended to rest on the edge of the wood, and if you want a circular cut, you need to attach to the center of the arc.
In order to do that, you would have to turn the fence over so that the ridge pointed up and did not impact the surface of the wood.
Then you need to attach a point of radius.
The best way I can think of doing that would be to drill a hole through the sheet metal, near the ridge, and near the shaft.
Then use a small nail or pin through this hole you drilled, to stick into the wood surface far enough for a reasonably steady pivot point.
Best I can thing of.
But you could also just use a piece of wire to the rotation point pin.
