Panasonic phone has duplicate handset numbers

Panasonic is famous for one handset not working. They like you to use their free repair, because then they can get the encryption code your phone system is using.

Local law enforcement frequently requires access to a suspect's stored phone numbers and/or conversations. So this makes it a bit easier for them to get that information. They just get the code from Panasonic.

I recommend that people just forget about the defective handset and store it somewhere.

On the label you should have a model number that may or may not contain the TZ20 characters.

Just enter that model number at this website: and you should be able to download it there.

If that tag is missing, there is an alterate search method on that same page as well.

Could also mean a blown fuse in power supply. Fuse needs checking first if it keeps blowing then yes could be regulator, filter cap or rectifier diode fault

My caller id is not showing name or number of the

Since CID display to the phone comes from the Panasonic phone SYSTEM, you might try looking inside the cabinet to see if it has a caller ID card. The part ends in 93.

It also requires some programming. If you post your model number, I might have a CID card if yours is missing.

My panasonic television seems to have shorted out, is there a breaker inside the back of the older model televisions

There are fuses or safety resistors in the circuitry, but the fault you have could be a short circuit in the power supply due to a failed regulator. You would need to check what voltages are still present & which are missing using a multi-meter to locate the area of the fault.

Nv fj630 can't power up

Had the same problem with my one. After a lot of time spent testing etc and finding no low volts of any value present and looking on the web, I found that Panasonic tend to use a similar design of power supply for a lot of models and there appears to be, after a number of years in use, a weak link in the design/use with the voltage regulator. For this model, the regulator generic part number is STRG 6352 and the Panasonic part no is C5HACZZ00002. In the UK it is available from:-
If you need a service manual for this model, which is helpful for checking things/disasembly/assembly, you can obtain a free one from:-
As a note the panasonic replacement from chs came with the pins bent correctly, so it fitted directly after I had cut the old one out.

Best of luck!

1- Panasonic 7'' monitor model # CQ-VA707WEUC 2- Panasonic brain model #YEPOFX3799 I NEET THE id CODE

Sounds like an inverter problem. If the power supply is internal replace the capacitors coming out of the voltage regulators. These are usually 1000mf and/or 470mf. If that doesn't do the trick look up the numbers on the 8-pin chips that drive the secondary transformers on the inverter to see if they are getting the right voltages.
Good Luck!

My panasonic PT-56WX51CE rear projection will not turn on. Fuses where ok.

The click sound tells us that the microprocessor circuit is working and can be eliminated. The horizontal is the number one suspect. It could be shorted. If it is, then, the high voltage transformer or the focus block become a suspect as well. The voltages on the secondary of the power supply is the next place to check. If they are all there, then, you can rule out the power supply. If the voltages are missing, then, the regulator circuit is where the problem is. If only one voltage is missing, then, the the secondary has an issue and the circuit it supplies probably has a short. Good Luck
