Kenmore 300 series dryer will not come on

The fastest I ever saw a Kenmore softener thrown in the dump was seven weeks old. This was at the owner's insistence; just wouldn't remove iron. He bought an Autotrol with a turbulator from me. This was about 15 years ago and it still works just fine. He had his first service call 2 years ago. I've always thought that quality was more important than price, but if you wish to install yourself I can come so close to the "sale" price of a Kenmore.

Hi, If you are having problems with your gas dryer not heatingthe most common problem is that the ignitor goes bad. I was just looking for a part for mine, too. On the tag inside the front door is the pre-printed prefix 110. that goes with the 86950100 that's printed later. So, I entered 110.86950100 and found the information for my model.

My unit has been working reliably for many years now, and some parts are not available anymore. I think I bought it in about 1985. I replaced a thermal cut-off switch in 2009 for $15 locally. I also have a matching washer. I've never had any failures with it. Bear in mind that I was single for 20 of those years with only a few girlfriend-hours on them. :-)

i used to be sears repairman ask him if there is a recall on your pacfic model .. betcha there is on the dryer drum tell him u want the whole drum replaced on dryer u know exsisting problem having on this pacfic dryer remember satisfaction gaurented or money back...

Does the motor run? If the answer is no check the door switch. If yes then check the thermostats and thermal fuse.

ya, first question? they said $1000.00 to fix?wow Did the tech give you that in writing?
ok, take off the bottom kick plate and you will see a pump right in the middle. there is a trap there unsrew the cap and get the stuff out of there., word of caution have towels ready cause when you take this off the water will come out. you should get as much water as you can at first.from the tub.you will not get all the water out.

if the unit washes ,,and dont spins check your lid switch first...

sounds like the problem is in the user interface(pushbuttons and knobs)check your warranty some models came with 2 yr warranty on electronics
