Color cartridge missing (by 2 users)

hello--my brother went to change color cartridge first--they weren't in the middle like usual--they were to the left--he pulled them to the middle and changed the color cartridge-- it show color cartiage missing--we changed the black and thats okay--whats wrong --how do we fix?

I have the same problem.
