Why is there condensation?

Moisture laden air will always condense on a cold object - like the moisture that collects on your glass of ice tea during the summer.

Why in the summer dose one of my AC vent in the celling have so much condensation that it leaks through the celling

It is ICING UP and getting so cold the humid air around the unit is condensing back into water. Check the lines and make certain they are INSULATED (covered) properly. Check drip trays and other lines for leaks and/or clogged exits.

I have 2 of the MSZ-A09NA Mr. Slim model in my 400 sq. ft. cottage. In the summer time my cottage is always damp feeling and the ducts drip condensation. How do I prevent this dripping?

It sounds like you have too much air conditioner vs. conditioned space. This would cause dripping and short run times. Air conditioners are designed not only to cool the house but to pull the moisture out, if it is too big and cools the area too fast the outside of the ducts will begin to collect condensation like the outside of a cold glass of water.

There seams to be water coming out from underneath the fridge, especially in the summer. I have just re-newed the seal but still find there is a pool of water coming from underneath. Can you shed some...

Hi Lyn, It is most likely condensation from humid air condensing on your coolant line, the one that carries the cooled refrigerant from the condenser. This fits with your description of it being worse in summer, when the air has a higher level of humidity. Your best bet is to put a shallow tray under your fridge to catch the water. Alternatively, pull the fridge out and feel the lines when it's running. When you find the one that is very cold, see if you can wrap it to insulate it so that moisture in the air does not condense on it.

We have a Rheem air conditioner that is 9 years old Model number RAKA 037-JAZ and have been having some issue with it. Last summer the condenser wasn't coming on so we have a friend who is a HVAC guy and...

It sounds like he got you a Hard Start Kit/Capacitor, that might explain
the five minute delay. When the fan is not operating the compressor will
make a loud noise..

Check to make sure insulated suction line is cold, that mgiht tell you that the compressor is working.

Check to make sure hot air is discharging out of the condensor.

If neither of these to things are happening and you think the compressor is on, it is possible that you are low on refrigerant.

Check to make sure your indoor blower is working, the filter is clean and check to see if you have condensation dripping from the indoor unit

I have two frigidaire a/c's. 1 is not cold enough

If the compressor's running and you're not getting cold air, then, you're low on refrigerant meaning you have a leak in unit,or a dirty condenser.

Lg minisplit heat pump will not heat

You may want to check that the pressure switch is not functioning? Secondly there is also a thermo sensor on the condenser coil which could be faulty.
