Automobile A/C have a low pressure cut out switch. If all the electricals are good then the gas has leaked out and that means there is a leak somewhere. Eric

I presume you changed it? Tripple check your work. Something was not put back right or wire/s were disturbed. There may be a

Pwr surge took out alt, windows guages blinkers, wipers, heat and ac

Hi S, It seems to me that the surge may have been caused by the alternator before blowing. A short circuit may has caused the diodes to blow, which in turn will probably have been caused by a short circuit created when the radio theft took place. The first thing to do is isolate all loose cables and make sure that there are no internal shorts inside any auxiliary equipment. After making repairs to the alternator, or fitting a replacement, disconnect all connectors to switches and other controlled units such as cabin heating and ventilation systems, music, TV and navigation systems. The fuse box is located in the engine compartment. Check all for continuity and replace burned fuses and at the same time, check for any damaged relays. Once are you satisfied everything is as it should be turn the ignition key to auxiliary and check all cables for overheating. Connect each unit one at a time until a fuse blows or all are connected. If a fuse blows while connecting, replace the fuse, but leave that circuit disconnected and continue until all are connected or another fuse blows. Once the dangerous circuits have been identified, trace the fault either into the wiring harness or the units. Repair if possible or replace. Once that has been done, crank and start the engine. Check all circuits with the engine running and the park brake fully engaged. If the engine fails to start check the electrics which operate the starter motor. Hope this info is at least a little helpful. Regards John

1999 Mazda millenia Electrical issues

the first thing to do is to remove the wires your sister conected, tape them seperately, these wires are power and ground wires and power the light in the visor mirror , they can not touch, so make sure they are apart and not touching any metal surface, tape them, one at a time.

there must be a blown fuse, did you check all the fuse boxes? there is one inside and one under the hood. start with this .

Car wont stay Running,Door wont Lock-Unlock, Radio dont work and Trunk Pop don't work

It appears that you have an electrical short somewhere. If you are mechanically inclined and have hours of time and electrical knowledge, good luck! Sometimes these problems can be easily found where the wiring harness runs through the firewall from the fuse panel under the dash to the engine compartment relay box. Vibrations of the engine over time on a vehicle over 10 years old will chafe the wires over time on places where the wires lay over body frame components. Also heat and time on a cars wiring harness over a decade can damage wiring in the engine compartment or along exhaust manifold underneath. Try looking in those places for visible damage before tearing out all the interior or dash.

My AC Switchs wont turn on but the ac is fully charged and the fan works changed the thermostat and still the ac wont work..please help!!

The Thermastat has nothing to do with your AC becoming on at all because the Thermastat has to do with radiator fluids going into the engine to keep its high temperatures in check not your AC. You need to check the connection of the switch with a multimeter to see if current is getting to it and it is not then check the fuse for your AC in fuse box so see if this fuse is blowned. If the fuse is blowned tells me that there is a short in the wiring to the AC switch.

Alrite my cousin was putting my battery in an hooked it up backwards n i replaced the battery n alternator wat should i checknext cause it wont stay running cause the battery dies somehow

Check the main fuses in the power distribution center. If they are all OK you will need a dealer or good electrical shop to sort things out. You may have a burned wire, failed computer (regulates voltage through there) or many other things wrong that take lots of experience (and equipment) to find.
Putting a battery in backwards does not seem like a big problem but in computerized systems it is.
