Stuck lens. no activity from camera

Common problem with this camera. NOT a battery issue, but could be power issue (possibly from a short either with battery connections or on board of camera). Tapping lightly on side of camera seems to resolve in most cases. Problem may reappear. Without service it won't really be "fixed" and even then if they can't recreate problem they won't find solution. Kodak is very aware of this issue but won't respond on it. Good luck.
