Have know idea what to do

I need to know if model number posted here is correct or not?

With the issues you have a hard reset may cure all.

It requires the Mitsubishi remote.

The model listed here has 3 hidden menus and one is the option menu which will reset the TV to factory and that cures a lot of strange issues.

Let me know if model number here is correct and if you have the remote.

Reseting the lamp meter on tv

1) Press the POWER button to turn your TV on. Make sure you are set to Cable/TV reception. If the "replace lamp. Reset Lamp timer" notice appears, press "EXIT" on your remote.
2) Press and hold the VOLUME DOWN BUTTON on the TV set (not the remote, the actual TV set)
3) Continue to press and hold the VOLUME DOWN button and press and hold the PIP (Picture in Picture) or SPLIT/PLAY button on your REMOTE control (your are pressing and holding BOTH of these buttons at the same time now).
4) After 5 or 10 seconds (be patient), the lamp serice menu will appear and say your lamp counter has been rest to '0' (zero). That's it, you are all done.

Now, I continue to have the power shut off after a few minutes of play. I think it is a problem with the cooling fan. Damn it all anyway.

Resetting the TV
If the buttons on the remote AND the buttons on the TV case do not work (channels do not change and you cannot open or navigate the menu), the TV has stopped responding. Reset the TV as follows:
NOTE:
Some TVs have a reset button. If available and accessible, try using the reset buttons before using the steps below. Using the reset buttons can save time.

1. Unplug the TV power cord from the power outlet for 4 hours.
2. Unplug any connected devices (DVD, Set-top boxes, etc...)
3. Press and hold the TV power button for five seconds.
4. Plug the TV power cord back into the power outlet and turn on the TV.
5. Open the on-screen menu to confirm that the TV is responding again.
6. Turn off the TV and reconnect the devices.
7. Turn on the TV.

hope this may help;
