SOURCE: sea talk failure

Remove all wiring from 4000 head, hook up only 12V, if seatalk fail continues, it is the head. if seatalk fail goes away, hook in instruments one by one until the bad head is found. Seatalk is 12V red, Ground Screen(bare wire) and Data yellow (pulsing voltage). good luck 847-746-0100 John Barry

What inline fuse should be used for 12V power supply from vessel to EV-200 ?

First, type-1 is not an hydraulic system. It's electro-mecanic.
The EV-200 needs 2 power supplies. 1 for the calculation unit ( thru the Seatalk OR by a connection in the ACU ) AND a feed for the pilot motor/pump.
The calculator power ( NMEA ) needs only a 5 amp fuse. The 'high' power needs an eventual 25amp fuse. In fact, the power output to the motor is totally protected from overloads and/or shorts. Have those cables between power distribution and ACU thick enough to handle 20amps on his length ( twice the cable distance between battery and Acu is the lengt to calculate with )

Go by what the manual says. That spec is for the input current , not the output current.

St4000 auto pilot makes 180 degree turn for no good reasonn

It has been a while since I set up my auto pilot, but Raymarine has a very good set of on-line manuals and it would be a good idea to go through the setup procedure again. There is a sensitivity setting that adjusts the responsiveness of the AP in relation to changes in the helm. If it is set too sensitive, the AP will make big changes when the helm slightly moves.

I can't figure out how to switch from position 1 to position 2.

U have to grab the bar and like pull out and move it back and forth between positions. If your sitting in front of the swing(chid facing you) grab bar and pull away from you and move seat. Might have to hold the little side thing that says one and two to keep it still.

How do I light the pilot on my Modine PA105AB?

Look on the side or bottom there will be a little circular door held on with one screw it will swing from side to side there should be a long wire with a hook on the end that looks like a key ring this is used for holding the match if you can't find the match holder in the bottom of you unit find some way to get the match up to the pilot head then turn your gas valve to pilot position and push in on the button while holding the button in light the match hold it to the pilot head once the fire lights continue to hold the button down for 10 seconds then instantly let off the button and turn the knob to the on position and your set .

Hope this helps......

What is EV on the menu

Hi cute_chic24,

EV is Exposure value refers to the amount of light for a given exposure. It is denoted as a single number. Its value is subsequently used to calculate the correct combination of shutter speed and aperture at a given ISO speed of the sensor.
Starting point is a shutter speed of 1 second at f1, which is denoted as EV 0. Further up the scale a single exposure of EV13 could be ISO 100, f8 - 1/125s, or f11 - 1/60s.

It doesn't make any difference which combination you choose, as all variations at the same EV will ensure a correct exposure. Remember though, you are always balancing camera or subject movement against depth of field. This is because a change in aperture will require a change in shutter speed for an equal amount of light to reach the sensor or CCD. If you set the shutter speed one stop slower and aperture one stop smaller, exposure doesn't change, but you increase depth of field slightly and the possibility of blur.

Clunking noise while normally drivin an hitting bumbs or turning right

I don't think that there is a part on your car called the rocking arm. But there is set of bars in the front end called the sway bar. The sway bar helps the car handle correctly and it is critical. I am no expert so I would visit your local dealer or mechanic.

Blury pictures

this probably comes because there is movement of the camera while pressing the shutter full down, especially in night or low light conditions it takes a very long time to take a picture , during that time you have to hold the camera steady . it dos not have a stabilizer (as far as i know) so there is no correction of movement (how little it may be) . you could try to intensivate the settings from standard iso to 400 ( 800 = 3 megapixel max) and the ev to plus 2 (in "bad"light) and the A mode switch to the lowest F size (i believe it is f2.8) than press the shutter halfway , than full (hold it steady)
