Question about Microsoft LifeCam VX-6000 Webcam
Just installed Microsoft LifeCam VX-6000 quickly and easily, no problems when testing the mic, audio and sound, etc... However, while the sound on my PC works perfectly fine everywhere else once i am connected with a video chat via the webcam there is no sound. It literally works fine until i've connected the call. ???
should i install drivers? reboot??
You will probably need to reconfigure whatever software you are using for the video call to pull audio from the Onboard Mic from the Cam. If it is not configured to pull the audio from that Mic on the Cam, it may be looking for audio somewhere else. This is sadly an issue with a lot of Video Chat software applications.

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
