Connect your iPod Shuffle to your computer using the USB dock cable that came with the device. Launch iTunes and click your iPod's Shuffle under the Devices heading. Click the radio button next to "Entire music library" or "Selected playlists, artists, albums and genres," depending on the songs you want to download.
You just need to import your song into iTunes library, then make a playlist with the songs, plug in your iPod to computer, iTunes will detect the iPod automatically, then click iTunes menu "File -> Sync iPod", the songs will be transferred from iTunes to iPod.

You need to have iTunes installed on your computer. It's a free download from Apple. Load your CD's into iTunes or buy songs from the Apple iTunes Music Store.
Connect your iPod shuffle and synch.
Hi there, When you go into the ipod section on iTunes, click the music tab, make sure 'sync music' is checked and 'selected playlists:' is also, then check the playlist you want to use. Click 'sync' button
If that don't work go back to the summary tab and hit 'restore' and follow the instructions to reset the ipod, resync and all should be fine.
itunes is the key... the same way you put the songs onto the ipod is how you remove them..
open itunes and remove the check mark from any songs you want to remove from your ipod and perform a sync just as you did by checkmarking the songs you wanted on your ipod but in reverse
Though I do not have a ipod shuffle, it sounds like you set it to run on "sample" which is a setting to play only a few seconds of the song then stop, are you using any other program besides itunes?
