Electric dryer connection

If this is natural gas dryer, you need a certified gas technician to do the work. You can't do it yourself as it is too dangerous. The gas air mixture and the gas pressure has to be set with a tool called a manometer.

If the dryer was electric, and you want to convert it to propane, that is impossible and can't be done.

While it is possible to convert your dryer from electric to gas or vice versa, you will find the cost to be excessive and not worth consideration. A gas dryer will have3 a gas burner and ignitor circuit system while the electric dryer will have a heating element and controls. This is NOT a practical conversion nor would it be cost effective. If you need a gas dryer for your new home, purchase a new dryer or save a few $$$ and check your local Craig's List for a good deal on a used gas dryer. Just beware that you don't buy someone elses problem. There are legitimate sales caused by moving or upgrading appliances that will allow you to find a great bargain. Drop any notion of converting your dryer!

Nope, not possible but why on earth would you want to? Gas is the best for many reasons.

A dryer is a dryer. Most cases they all work the same. You will need to get an LP conversion kit for that model to complete the task.

Sell the dryer and get an electric one. Conversion is not possible. Be advised that electric dryers run on 220 volts and require a special plug. hope this helps!

Most american dryers have the regulator built into the gas valve.
you will need to put he correct parts on the gas valve.

do you have another regulator on the gas line before the machine?

If you dont feel comfortable doing this conversion you should call your propane supplier and have them do it for you.
