My dell xps 12 can not detect the wired usb connection

Hi,

Go to Drivers & Downloads enter your service tag number, then select your operating system. Under Network, download and install the latest drivers.

Try these tweaks....
Start, control panel, device manager. Click on Network and then right click on your wireless adapter, left click properties, power management. Uncheck the box, allow computer to turn off this device to save power.
Go to the power options, and changed the Wireless Adapter Setting, from Maximum Power Setting to Maximum Performance.

Thanks..

Wireless adapter not found

uninstall the drivers

click on start then right click on my computer, then click on manage, the a page will come up, on the left side of the page you will get the option of device manager on the left, once you will get the device manager, click on device manager, you will get the list of devices, in the list of devices, click on network adapters
once you click on network adapters there would be an option of wireless adapter, right click on wireless adapter and click on uninstall, once it is uninstalled, restart the computer, it will detect the drivers automatically

I have a Dell Inspiron Laptop. I recently reformatted it. Now It does not recognize wireless connections. I cant connect to the net Can anyone help?

When you reinstalled Windows, Windows probably did not include a driver for your wireless adapter. A driver tells Windows how to interface with a certain device, such as a wireless adapter. You can easily download the driver online and install it. Once installed, restart the computer and you should again have the ability to connect to wireless networks.
I've gone to the Dell website for you and found the correct driver. Please visit this link: http://support.dell.com/support/downloads/driverslist.aspx?os=WLH&catid=5&dateid=-1&impid=-1&osl=EN&typeid=-1&formatid=-1&servicetag=&SystemID=INS_PNT_PM_1525&hidos=WLH&hidlang=en&TabIndex=&scanSupported=False&scanConsent=False
On that website, I would first try downloading the first driver on the list. If that doesn't enable your wireless after a reboot, try the other ones. After the correct driver is installed, your wireless will be working again.

Hi,

Most of the laptops those are the common issues Wireless are not working, what i suggest is try to renistall the Driver for the wireless card then check it in the Device Manager, if it doesn't show in Device Manager the wireless card could be faulty.

You must used your ethernet cable first or your LAN for us to get internet then check device manager for the check the exact driver for your wireless. check the properties and driver details. You must download driver by link http://www.driver-id.ru/download-f.pci-ven-14e4-dev-4315-subsys-000b1028.html . Then you must install driver manually by going to right-click "my computer"->manage-> device manager-> other devices-> right-click on network controller(or something else, i don't know how it written into english Windows XP) -> Update driver-> No))->install from scpecifying place->Next-> and specify the place where driver on.
Test your wireless , Go to network and and internet connection and connect to wireless to detect your router..
Hope this can help you...

I have a delstar netbook and cannot get it to hook up to the wireless we have for our laptop. any suggestions?

it may be your wireless device problem.
If its a software problem, you may fix it via driver.

Go to Device Manager via Computer's Properties.
Select the Network Adapters tab & expand it.
select the Wireless Adapter, u'll get it easily.

Now double click the tab as u'll see the properties of it. Now as you can go to the Details section, u can see a tab, UPDATE DRIVERS..
Select it & upload the new drivers..

If u dont have any new drivers for ur lapdrive, select uninstall & make sure u only remove the device.

Now restart ur system & let it work. It'll automatically detect a new device, that is ur Wireless device, and it will automatically install the drivers for it..
now select the wireless device configuration tab & connect the network u need.

thats it..
If u like my post, please rate me, i really need some good ratings. If its not working, ask again freely & do mention your complete laptop name

Thanks !!!
