SOURCE: Audi A6 2001 2.5td I have a burst hose on kerb

Hi there, you can replace the hose very easy by using a screwdriver or pliers to remove the clamps. Make sure your new hose got new hose clamps and slide it over the joint. Make sure you slide it over abou 20mm to 25 mm. Tighten the clamps and check your water with the right amount of antifreeze in.

SOURCE: 02 Honda Oddessy leaking trans fluid with no burst pipes or puddle

Not sure what you are saying here, no drips under the car?? Are you sure? If that is the case then the fluid must be leaking out of the fluid cooler into the cooling system, is there fluid int the coolant?

SOURCE: Boom on my JCB 531-70 telehandler will only extend 2 inches what is the possible cause

Hi Andrew:
I'd start by checking the hydraulic fluid level, then the filters for metal particles.. It may be that a piece of metal is holding a valve open.
Probably a good time to have the assistance of a qualified hydraulics mechanic.

Reasons why breather on diff is leakig oil on mustang telehandler 844

What was done on ag equipment where that differential was used, an extension pipe was added to the breather to raise it 6'' to 8 '' . Use either pipe fittings or hose . That took care of the problem on Ag equipment.

The dig boom will not raise or lower on a 1020 walk behind trencher

Craig, I do not have a lot of experience with trenchers, if hydraulic operated not enough oil/check reservoir,, one of the valves/controls may be stuck, you will have to follow line from boom cylinder and trace it back to the valve and dismantle and repair. Secure boom as to not harm you or others.

Leaking underneath. Is there a way to repair?

First you have to make clear what is causing the leak. A gasket? A burst in a pipe? Burst in the heater? When you know what, you can see (a tech can) if it is repairable and what it will cost.

93 GMC Z71 - rough start or sometimes won't start unless it sits for a while (hours). When it does start it smells of gas and usually is accompanyed by smoke coming out of exhaust. Replaced fuel...

I'm assuming "white" smoke and not "black" since you didn't mention.
If white smoke, it's coolant or oil leaking into the cylinder heads while it is not running.
If oil and from leaking valve guide seals, it's not a serious thing and basically a nuisance. Just keep your motor oil level topped off until you have new seals installed or dispose of vehicle.
If coolant, it's a much more serious problem. The liquid in the head will do two things. One, foul the spark plug and possibly cause hydraulic lock (fluids cannot be compressed and cylinder locks up)
Check you oil level and if keeps going down a quart every few hundred miles, it's the valve seals.
Check your coolant. If down, it's possibly a head gasket leak, which is not uncommon for vintage and make.
If coolant keeps going down and not leaking on ground, that's a smoking gun, not to make a bad pun, for a leaking head gasket. At this point, it's prudent to first invest $10 on Barr's Leak Copper (looks like liquid copper in a jar) and add to your coolant system. Follow manufacturer's instructions and then see if problem either persists or abates.
If it abates, go and buy a lottery ticket since you're very lucky and solved a serious problem with an inexpensive fix.

Good Luck

I have a 1996 Yamaha yz80 that oil is coming out the exhaust pipe. I am running 40 to 1 ratio gas oil mixture. Any ideas what may be the problem?

Two strokes just leak oil especially where the pipe meets the motor you could try new oring but seriously only be worried if you dont have oil leaking from exhaust on a two stroke is rule of thumb

Thick black oil in coolant expansion tank

that sounds really serious there shouldn't be oil anywhere in or near that, sounds like you could have a cracked head gasket which will cause oil to leak into coolant and coolant to leak into the oil, if u can drain the sump oil and see if there is water in the oil if so you've got a big problem and is really hard to replace if you don't know anything bout dismantling engines and unfortunately it can cost up 2 a couple thousand to get a mechanic to fix
