Question about Computers & Internet
If this Acer laptop has the 'hidden' system rebuild disk, you might want to try using it to rebuild the system. Many of them have a hidden partition on which the whole system resides, to allow you to wipe out and rebuild the computer.
Check at the Acer web site to see if your model has this.
My Acer 5920 laptop - which I am using to answer this, has this very feature and I have used it twice when I peronally screwed up my installation of Vista, by doing things I should not have done <g>. Turned out just fine.
You might get there using F2 upon powering it on.
