Question about John Deere Garden
Had to rewire it and the diagram I found online does not show which wires goes to hot or the ground. Any help, much appreciated.
The HOT wire goes to the contacts and the ground normally goes at the mounting screw

SOURCE: ELECTRICAL PROBLEM
Can't get you a diagram but i can tell you most electical problems on these tractors can be solved by replaceing the key switch/modual or cleaning corrosion from fuse holders.

You should price a new wiring harness, around $80 so there is not much reason to spend a lot of time trying to find shorts or open wiring.
