Why 2010 toyota corolla rear wheels wont spin after replacing drums and shoes?

you should have backed off the e-brakes before you installed new shoes. if you had to hammer the drums on that should have been a clue that you did something wrong. you will have to get the drums off some way and check to make sure you didn`t install something in the wrong way.

Just fitted a new belt to my dryer now it wont turn have checked for any loose wires

Are you sure you have the belt on correctly? When you start it does the motor run or try to run? Does it hum or buzz when trying to start? Take the belt off & start it see if the motor runs if it does check if drum, belt and idler pully are installed correctly.
Check the drum rollers and drum glides be sure the drum turns ok. Be sure everything is installed correctly & turns OK . Are you getting power? Hard to tell what is wrong without much information about what is going on. You might check the front panel & see if it is binding on the drum not letting it turn. Hope there's something here that will help you.

I have a brother HL_2140 laser printer I just changed the ink cartage and now the Drum light is flashing on and off and it wont print?

That means you drum will finish soon, once the drum light become on you can not print, start looking for the new drum price and get it, once the drum light become on open the front door, take out the toner and drum, with the front door open press go button and keep it down until the 4 lights of the printer become on, release the button and install the new drum with the cartridge.

Rear break drum wont come off

sometimes if the brakes are old and they wear a groove in the drum it creates a ridge on the outer edge of drum that stops the drum from sliding off shoes. If you can from behind the dust plate release the brake adjuster to allow the brakes to release. Also the drum itself gets rust around the outer inner part on the axle hub. Spray WD 40 on center outside hub area. Use a larger hammer and hit drum on the outer face several times to send shock waves to drum which will break loose then install larger flat pry bar or screwdriver behind drum ( between dust shield and drum) and pull outward as to pry the drum off hub while striking drum on opposite side rear of drum. You will succeed and sometimes it can be a toughy.

The rear drum wont come off as i would expect

Yes, Undo the 32mm nut, first. And, don't get the bearings dirty with dust from the brake drums, or , if you do, replace the inner and outer bearings with new greased up ones.prev.gif next.gif REAR DRUM BRAKES Brake Drums REMOVAL & INSTALLATION CAUTION
Brake linings contain asbestos. Asbestos is a known cancer-causing agent. When working on brakes, remember that the dust which accumulates on the brake parts and/or in the drum contains asbestos. Always wear a protective face covering, such as a painter's mask, when working on the brakes. NEVER blow the dust from the brakes or drum.
  1. Raise the vehicle and support safely.
  2. Remove the wheel and tire assembly.
  3. On vehicles without rear bearing hub, remove the dust cap, cotter pin, nut lock, wheel bearing nut and washer from the spindle. Remove the outer wheel bearing. Remove the drum with the inner wheel bearing from the spindle. If the drum is difficult to remove, remove the plug from the rear of the backing plate and push the self adjuster lever away from the star wheel. Rotate the star wheel to retract the shoes. Remove the grease seal.
  4. If equipped with a rear bearing hub, remove the drum by removing the retainer screws from the drum and pulling the drum from the hub assembly. If the drum is difficult to remove, remove the plug from the rear of the backing plate and push the self adjuster lever away from the star wheel. Rotate the star wheel to retract the shoes. To install:
  5. On vehicles equipped without rear bearing hub, lubricate and install the inner wheel bearing. Install a new grease seal. Install the drum to the spindle. Lubricate and install the outer wheel bearing, washer and nut. Adjust the bearing preload following the procedure outlined in the "Rear Wheel Bearing'' of this section. When the bearing preload is properly set, install the nut lock and a new cotter pin. Install the grease cap.
  6. On vehicles with rear bearing hub, install the brake drum to the hub assembly and install the retaining screws.
  7. Install the wheel and tire assembly. Adjust the rear brakes as required.
  8. Apply the brakes until a firm pedal is obtained, prior to moving the vehicle.

Press the start button on dryer, it hums but wont turn. With 2 people pressed the start button again, held the door switch, reached in turned the drum, it hummed stopped humming then no more nothing....

Sounds like a weak motor. You'll have to get a new motor installed. They are fairly inexpensive and easy to install yourself on that type of machine if you are handy. Motor is located in the bottom right of the machine, attached to the drum belt through a small pulley underneath the drum next to the motor.

Machine (LG wm1280 7kg)works fine except drum wont roatae

You can repair it, but it really needs to be done by a qualified technician. What has very possibly happened, is the spider assembly has snapped that connects to the drum (that's the noise you heard).. The drum has now collapsed. Different machines open differently. The later ones have plastic outer frames, and when the "spider arm"collapses, it eats large chunks out of the drum internally. It in my opinion is not then worth the repair. For the older ones, one needs to remove drive belt and pulley then strip front of machine to enable you to open it up. This will let you then remove the inner drum. Inspect spider assy. and see if actually broken. (I'm sure it is.) Phone agents for replacement parts which will be 2 bearings and a seal and the spider assembly.Install and reassemble.
