Re: Wireless doesn't work on f700
The internal network adaptor may be fragile, and not secured properly. However, I would not suggest you try to secure it as it may break.
So, just make sure your wireless LAN device driver is properly installed. TO check, right click my computer, properties, then "hardware" tab, then device manager. There, check for your driver under "Network Adaptors" and see if it is properly installed.
If it is not, you can re-install it from the company's support& download site.
If it is installed, go to a more experienced techician to securely fasten the internal network adaptor in place.

Disconnect all speaker connections and rca cables. Leave power, ground and remote wires intact. Try turning on again. If you still have a protection light your amp is faulty. Hopefully you have warranty. Using an ohm meter to the sub will confirm whether its bad or not. Invest in a cheap test set of 6.5" speakers.

Okay, i finally have found a solution to this problem, it may sound crazy but hear me out and give it a try. Turn the computer off and turn it back on(admittedly i stumbled upon this trying to enter the bios settings). Then proceed to hold down the function key and press all the buttons on the top line of the keyboard (you probably only need to press the wireless button but hit all to be sure). the computer will idle and take a little longer to come on but when it does the wireless should be working fine again. Also try pressing them all without holding the function key to ensure.
This sounds like a hardware failure, but just in case go to your computer Control Panel-Network Connections(Network and Sharing Center for Vista and above), and check your Network adapter settings. If your Network card is not showing, you may have a driver issue, or a bad NIC (Network Interface Card). It shouldn't matter that your router says" wireless hardware not detected", because you are hardwired from the computer to the router. I would check to see if you may have turned off, or blocked Ethernet connections on your router, I would then change my Cat5 (Ethernet) cable, and finally open the desktop and change out the NIC (Network Interface Card).
When you connect to the internet wirelessly and Wii Connect24 your Wii will stay connected and recieve messages, updates, etc. That is why the disk area stays blue and the amber light stays on. Sometimes this will create a power failure. Just unplug your Wii from the wall and let it rest for a few minutes and plug it back in. The problem should be solved.
if your wireless connection is not working even if the wireless light is lit up on ur 2wire modem/router....try to delete the 2wire network from the prefered list...go to network connection, right click on wireless netwrok connection, go to properties and click on wireless network..select the 2wire netwrok on the prefered list and remove..reconnect to the network by clicking on view available wireless netwrok and select the 2wire network again...if its asking for a WEP key or password take a look at the bottom on the modem a 10 digits number enclosed in brachets..thats the network or wep key. access 192.168.1.254 and click on home network, got to wireless settings---edit settings...change ur wireless channel to 10 adn power settings to 10, save ur changes=)...ohh and by the way make sure that the wifi switch of ur laptop is turned on=)
